"Hmm what books to read..." The girl with indifferent colors of her eyes said as she walks through the enormous library of the palace.

Three years had passed since the young girl with mismatched eyes was found in the forest of the Clover Kingdom, covered in blood and unconscious.

Despite the time that had gone by, she still couldn't recall anything about herself—not her identity, not even her name.

It seemed as if all her memories had been intentionally erased.

Marx ni-san tried tirelessly to help her regain her memories, but all efforts were in vain.

That is why her papa—the one who found her took care of her, raised her and gave her name.

"What shall her name be, Julius-sama?"

Marx asked, observing the girl who gazed innocently at them, as if nothing had happened to her. Julius, unprepared for the question, pondered. He was truly fascinated by her rare eyes.

"I shall name her Areum!" he exclaimed after a moment of silence, the innocent girl looking at them with interest.

This made Marx furrow his brow.

"Why Areum?" Julius shrugged.

"Just felt like calling her Areum," he chuckled.

Marx deadpanned.

"What am I expecting?" he muttered, watching the Magic Emperor engage enthusiastically in conversation with the girl.

This brought a smile to his face.

'At least, this girl now has a temporary home now.'

Others believed that Areum was from another kingdom due to her distinctive features—heterochromic eyes of blue and green, freckles on her cheeks, and a slightly pale complexion. She was often referred to as the 'angel made' for her ethereal appearance.

'Genetic information from my parents are just doing their thing.'

One remarkable thing about her is that she is incredibly genius. She knows numbers, the existence of mana words, history—all sorts of information that she can absorb just by reading a book once.

It was believed that it was her 'magic.' That magic was the sole reason why she could perform such phenomenal feats.

However, she can't use magic.

How ironic.

In a world full of magic, she somehow doesn't have even a slight drop of it.

Nobles and royals took notice of her, but Areum remained indifferent to their attention.

At the age of 7, Areum's encounter with a few nobles led to a heated exchange, showcasing her strong-willed nature. Frustrated by their teasing, she lashed out, unafraid to stand up for herself even in the face of authority.
