Areum couldn't help but clench her fist upon hearing what had happened to Fuego Ni-san.

"It's the Eye of the Midnight Sun, huh," she whispered silently, sending shivers down the spines of those who heard her.

It felt like death was approaching their doorstep.

"I wonder who they are," Areum added, gazing towards the Fuegoleon residence.

Noelle nudged Asta slightly, signaling him to take action.

Asta looked incredulously at Noelle but eventually followed her lead.

"Areum," he called out.

Areum responded with a thoughtful "hmm."

Out of nowhere, Asta unleashed the swords from his grimoire, leaving Noelle jaw-dropped at his impulsiveness.

'What the hell is this idiot thinking?!'

Areum watched Asta curiously, trying to decipher his intentions.

Surprisingly, his impulsive move proved to be effective in distracting Areum.

"Wow, really?!" Areum exclaimed in amazement as Asta recounted their past experiences in the dungeon.

Noelle felt relieved seeing Areum calm down.

"That was cool! How did you manage to pass the magic, Noelle?" Areum asked Noelle. Yes just, Noelle. For a short period of time, she had become comfortable around her.

Noelle felt a sense of responsibility towards Areum, almost like a big sister, which left her feeling oddly touched.

"I don't know exactly how it happened. I just did," Noelle simply replied.

Areum nodded, placing her hands on her chin, pondering a solution to the situation.

"Hmm, if it's like that..." she began to mumble some possibilities that were beyond the comprehension of a normal human being.

Asta, trying to understand Areum's thoughts, struggled to grasp her complex words.

Or Asta was just being over dramatic.

"I think it's because that's the real purpose of the sword itself," Areum stated, leaving everyone confused about what she was trying to convey.

"Oh, it's like when you cast a specific spell, for example, a defensive spell, its sole purpose is to defend," Areum elaborated, attempting to explain her hypothesis to the group.

"However, the distinction between magic and swords that can repel magic is that all of Asta's swords can repel, steal, or even erase magic, depending on how he manages to wield them," she further explained. The group was amazed at how quickly she grasped the nature of Asta's magic.

Areum gazed at Asta intently.

"Similar to magic spells that can evolve and have improved versions, if you truly understand your magic... you can undoubtedly achieve feats beyond your expectations," Areum remarked.

Klaus, who had been listening, was quite impressed by the depth of knowledge Areum possessed.

Areum smiled broadly, feeling like she had discovered another piece to study.

"But that was just my hypothesis, though. I will conduct my study tomorrow," Areum concluded.

"I do hope Yuno-san is here. I want to hear about his experiences with his new spell," Areum sighed.

Asta suddenly remembered Areum's sudden marriage proposal to Yuno which is—up until now—made him confuse.

He cannot pinpoint if Areum was trying to crack a joke or maybe she was serious about. It could be also....

'My head hurts processing all those information alone. I should just ask'

"Do you like Yuno?" he asked bluntly.

Areum blinked, contemplating the question.

Noelle widened her eyes at Asta's straightforward question, thinking he was being foolish.

'That Bakasta!'

"It's rude to ask that!" Noelle silently hissed at Asta, who was taken aback.

"Really?!" Asta looked at Areum and immediately apologized, "I am so sorry for asking that!"

Areum laughed, "It's fine. But to answer your question... I just like how he possesses wind as his power. I love wind mages who are five years older than me," she winked at Asta.

Both Asta and Noelle were now confused.

'Five years older?'

Mimosa and Klaus thought simultaneously.

"You have issues or something? That's creepy," someone suddenly interjected, and it was none other than the devil himself, Yuno.

Mimosa chuckled at Yuno's response, trying to lighten the mood.

"Don't be like that, Yuno-san," she said.

Areum playfully glared at Yuno and came up with an amazing idea to propose an offer he couldn't possibly refuse.

"I've got no issues, Yuno-san," Areum began, making her way towards Yuno, who only looked at her in response.

"And so?" he questioned.

Areum rolled her eyes at his salty attitude.

"But I have an offer to propose."

"Not interested," Yuno quickly dismissed.

"You didn't even consider my proposal!" Areum whined but Yuno completely ignored her and is now talking to Asta. He's acting as if Areum does not exist which infuriated her but her goal mute be achieve!

"Well, it is what it is!" she remarked, not letting Yuno's refusal dampen her spirits.

"𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅."

"𝒏𝒐."

Everyone who overheard the conversation gasped silently, unsure if it was due to Areum's bold question or Yuno's swift rejection.

"What?! Why?!"

Yuno raised his eyebrows, towering over the 4'10" girl.

Areum flinched, realizing her short stature.

"I don't have to consider your stupid proposal, flyspeck," Yuno retorted.

Areum gasped, offended by his insult.

"Did you just call me small?" she questioned.

"I did. So what?" Yuno challenged.

"Why are you being rude?" Areum shot back.

"Why are you lacking in height?" Yuno countered.

"Now come here, you piece of shi—," Areum started before she could get closer to Yuno, Asta intervened and dragged her away.

"Now, now, let's calm down," Asta chuckled, trying to diffuse the tension.

Klaus shook his head at the situation, finding it impudent.

"Little people really do have the audacity to start a fight. That's not something you see every day," Yuno muttered.

Both Asta and Areum heard Yuno's comment and turned to glare at him.

"What did you say, you handsome jerk!"

"Yes, you handsome jerk—" Areum paused and glanced at Asta.

"Wait, Asta! We don't call an enemy handsome!"

"Damn it, but we can't deny that he is handsome," Asta admitted.

Areum looked back at Yuno, who was engrossed in conversation with Klaus, and couldn't help but sigh.

"He really is handsome..."

"You saying something, flyspeck?" Yuno questioned.

"Alright, do not stop me, Asta!"

"Wait, wait, Areum!" Asta urged, trying to prevent any further confrontation.

A fight ensued, causing a series of shouts and chaos among them.
