It was a sunny day of summer break, where y/n was sitting on her room just to realise what day it is. The new volume of her favourite shonen manga is out, she needs to hurry out to catch one at least.
In seconds she was out, running on the street to catch the bus to go to her favourite manga store.
After her long adventure of catching the already moving bus on the station, she sat beside the window when she remembered that the volume of the shoju manga she's reading right now which was recommended by her bestfriend is also out today. Which means she's spending more money today, she always wonders why her bestie didn't lend her the volumes after finishing it but turns out they were lent to her by her cousin.
She exited the half empty bus after reaching her destination with a blonde scary looking boy. But she didn't give it a thought.
She entered the store where were there other people looking around, majority of them were teenagers. She was able to have her hands on the volume of the shonen manga which was two of it left, and turned around to walk towards the shoju section to find the other, when she was infront the right aisle, she took a few steps and stretched her hand to pick the book up. Right when she had her hand on it a hand from the left side was reaching for the same book, touched her own hand. She quickly snatched the book and brought it towards her chest. Looking towards the hand source, she saw the same scary looking guy. Who looked cute at the same time.
"H-hey..this is mine." Said the blonde boy looking intimidating.
"I got my hands on it first." She said with confidence trying to mask her nervousness.
"But... you have another book to read, let other people have one at least." He said with tinted cheeks and small frown.
"It doesn't matter how much I have, if you came here faster you could've took it before me and I wouldn't have said anything." She said with an attitude because he seemed harmless.
"Yeah...if Baji-san have called me just five minutes later." He mumbled the last part with blushed face.
"So..?" She asked because he was zoning out.
"Wait here." He ran towards the cashier, leaving her stunned.
After few minutes he ran back looking disappointed.
" He said they ran out of them, but they'll bring other ones next week which means I'll be wasting the first week of winter break by waiting." He said disappointed.
