She sat there in the visiting room, fiddling with her fingers, waiting anxiously for him to show up.
She was thinking about his wellbeing, was he eating enough? Has he been resting enough? Was he treated badly or not?
Well,scratch the last question. She knows he is treated well, he has some of big deal's members with him. Beside, she knows he is strong, he is not the leader of big deal for nothing.
She heard the small door open, and he walked in, being led by the arm by a guard toward her.
He looked away from her the second his eyes landed on her.
He had a scar running from his left cheek passing by his lip to his chin.
He plopped down on the chair, looking at his cuffed hands on the table.
She kept staring at his face with a hurt look, hoping he would lift his gaze and meet hers.
After a few moments of awkward silence, she finally broke it.
"Hey..." she said in a hushed town plastering a fake small smile on her face.
He stayed quiet for a moment then finally looked her dead in the eyes.
"Why are you here?" He asked straightforwardly.
She ignored his question and instead of answering his question, she throw another question at him.
"...what...happened to your face..?" She asked with a hurt look, stretching her trembling hand across the table and caressing his wound gently.
Yes, she doesn't know what happened.
His eyes met hers briefly before he moved away from her touch.
"Nothing, just small troubles." He said quietly, looking quickly to the side avoiding her gaze.
She looked at him longer and when she knew he isn't going to say more, she retrieved her hand and nodded at him.
"Just...be careful.." she said in a hushed tone.
He nodded at her and kept looking at his hands.
After a small moment of silent.
"You didn't answer me. Why are you here?" He asked softly.
"You're joking, right?" She scoffed as he looked at her confused.
She shook her head and then spoke again.
"It's not long until you come back, right?" She asked with hopeful eyes, again countering his question with one of her own.
"Yeah.." He said with a sigh not moving his eyes anywhere near her.
