"No Jace. You're always asking me for weired favours!" Said y/n in a stern voice while drying the cups in the same cafeteria where she works with Jace.
"Pleeeeease y/nnnnn, this is the last time. I swear!" He begged her trying to sneak some cups from her to dry them, a way of bribing her without her noticing.
She smacked his hand that stealing the cups.
"Remember when you asked me to record you a voice message pretending I'm your mother, so the principal can buy your excuse for being absence when you spend the day with burn knuckles." She spoke sternly.
"But y/nnn, this tim-"
"Remember that time, when you made me participate in your stupid fake celebration of birthday, for you to have a free cake at a restaurant." She cut him off while wiping the cups aggressively.
"But-"
"Remember, when you made me fake date you because you were lying to your friends." She said greeting her teeth.
"Y/-"
"And I had to fake a huge fight infront of the whole school, to pretend we broke up." The cups are about to break from the aggressiveness of her wiping.
"LISTEN TO ME PLEASE!!" His voice broke when he screamed for her begging.
"You want me to go on a date with a stranger Jace. What's more do you want me to do now?! Marry him?" She screamed back at him.
"Look, it's Vasco he is not a stranger! He is feeling down after the date he went from the slaves auction failed, so I wanted to make him feel better a bit." He said defending his opinion.
"Okay, let's say we went on a date and it went good, what then? Go with him in a second date? Then he likes my 'charms' and confesses to me, I can't guarantee I'll like him back, Jace." She spoke fastly.
She took some breaths and proceeded.
"Even the other way around, let's say I liked him, I can't force him to like me Jace, consider my feelings too." She spoke calmly this time.
He stood there thinking of her words finding sense in them.
"Aghhh, I don't know what to dooo!!" He whined like a kid.
"That's why you need to think more before suggesting your ideas, Jace." She said with a smirk.
"But he is sad Y/N! The burn knuckles can't keep going without him." He said dramatically.
"Then go on a date with him. Why it is necessarily me?!" She asked confused.
"Because you two have a passing acquaintance so you two can be comfortable. It is hard to find a girl who can even speak to Vasco, they find him...scary." He said justifying his view.
