Birds are chirpping, teenagers running in the school yard, others are having their lunch at the cafeteria, teachers hiding in their offices to avoid the exhausting and questionable behaviours of students.
Meanwhile, Jay Jo, the school's top student, is sitting on his desk solving extra math problems from his advenced math problems booklet.
No one gave him a weird look or questioned it because at this point, that's his routine. Everyone got used to it.
The other "humming bird" members sat scattered around him, talking about different things, moving from a topic to another the way Dom's mood changes when he sees Yuna.
They spent their lunch break talking until Minu brought up his new tea tjat he had caught when he was passing by the director's office.
"I think there's a new transfer student coming to our school. But I don't know which grade they are. Do you know anything about it, Shelly?" Everyone's eyes turned to the blonde beauty.
"Yeah, your old grandpa must have run his mouth around you due to loliness." Laughed Dom at his own stupid joke while everyone glared at him until he received a smack from Yuna.
"What ? she's a girl? I hope she's in my grade!" Spoke June, which surprised the others, because usually he is the most composed one.
They looked at him weirdly, feeling betrayed that their father is acting like a perv, like Dom.
He looked back at them seriously.
"What? I'm a teenager too! I want to meet pretty girls too!" He defended what was left of his broken image in front of them, but the damage is already done.
"Yeah...he said she's the top student at her previous school, that's why he accepted her here even though it's mid the school year." Spoke Shelly calmly.
That sentence was the only thing that caught Jay's attention, and made his pen stop. He lifted his eyes and looked at Shelly, a confusing look on his face; was it curiosity? Or was it annoyance?
"But what will make her transfer if she is already the top student and has her place among students already?" Asked Mia in curiosity.
They quickly moved from the topic since they didn't have more information on it. And soon the bell rang and everyone scattered to their classes.
During the first period after lunch, everyone was being lazy after having a tasty meal no one would bother with a biology class.
The teacher seemed to be infected with his students' laziness too. He was speaking monotnesly, that if he wasn't reading from a paper or a book.
The only interested people were Jay Jo and the vice president of the school council; who was in a non-existent competition against the president: Jay.
Three strong knocks on the classroom door woke everyone up, and even the sleepy teacher was startled.
