14 - Very Wrong

Joshi pov.

"What the hell do we do?!?" I shouted as soon as I got a hold of Kyeom in my lap.

"Alright relax. I don't think he was shot directly, look at this mark, the bullet just grazed him." Joshua said as he pointed at the wall.

"I don't know what to do. Should we go to the hospital?" I asked as I covered his wound with a towel. He probably passed out because of the blood he saw.

"Keep on putting pressure until the bleeding stops. And we can't risk going out now, someone took a shot at us at your apartment, what else could we do outside where he/she could have a clear shooting view." Joshua said and I realized he was right but seeing Kyeom unconscious in my arms is making my head dizzy.

"I know. Get the medicine kit and don't make any sudden noises." I ordered my brother and he followed. The lights were still off and so we were both struggling to patch him up.

"He's a bleeder. I mean compared to his wound." Joshi commented.

"Dude seriously? He saved your life. You owe him not to be judgmental." I said and he nodded.

"I know. And I'm thankful for him. I just don't know what to do next." He said and I had the same thought as well. If people are trying to take a shot at us at our own home, I don't think being outside is safe now.

We placed Kyeom in the bed after we cleaned his wound. It was not a deep cut but the bleeding made it worse to look at. Now that the bleeding stopped it was pretty normal looking. I just don't know if Kyeom
Could recover that quick. This is looking like two brothers doing something very illegal right now.

"I think you need to stay here for the mean time." I told Joshua.

"Like stay and live with you?" He asked looking so disgusted about the idea that we were both gonna live together.

"Yeah?" I said.

"You know that your place is already targeted as it is right? We should stay at my place. My mother has no idea I live there anyway." He suggested and I realized he was right. If my apartment is that easy to be shot at then it's probably safer for another place.

"Alright but let's wait for Kyeom to wake up first so that we can explain everything." I said to him and he nodded but frowned. I didn't mind him and sat beside Kyeom in the bed. He looks kinda funny now that I remembered he was wasted before he came here and everything happened.

"You know being close to Kyeom really puts us in a disadvantage." He told me.

"What why?" I asked my brother.

"Well you like him." He suddenly said.

"What? How did you- Who said that?" I asked.

"Dude it's super obvious." He said and Chuckled.

"Yeah but he still kinda likes you. And our faces.You bastard." I said then Joshua laughed and then I laughed as well.

"Don't worry dude. I'm good." He said and then I looked at him.

"But why did you say we were at a disadvantage with me liking him?" I said as I pointed at my sleeping friend right here.

"Well, mother could use him as blackmail and he's gonna be in danger, you know this already right? My mother's brain is not in its right place most of the time and I can't follow her next move." He said and I nodded. I mean I know about this already. She even blackmailed me with my own birth mother. I know she could stoop so low and hurt Kyeom. I just need to think of a way to protect this guy.

"I know that. I'll be extra careful." I assured my brother.

"Let me whip up something to eat first." He then suggested and I panicked and got up.
