Notes, greetings

The story is placed during the Third Year of Hogwarts (meaning Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban).

𝓦𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰! The events that follow, generally follow the main course than unravel in the books-movies. However, for the sake of creativity and repetitiveness (between retellings of the same plot), some minor plot altercations-additions and side stories have been added!

Also! As much as I love the movies (much of the dialogue is also interpreted in this retelling), I've attempted to incorporate some themes from the books, in terms of characters, and timelines.

The Marauders have also been incorporated into the retelling (probably more than they should have, but in my own little minded opinion, it's like asking when garlic is too much garlic in food.)

I will try to delve into interpersonal relationships, with many more characters than just the main trio. I feel like by writing, there's much more opportunity to examine and adapt dialogue and thoughts between characters. I will be trying to bring them to life.

I mostly bring light to children's feelings, and relationships. Friendship and hardship. If we really think about it, how would a thirteen year old kid react to a genuine life threatening situation? In a world of magic things change of course.
That's why I've made it my goal to bring that magic on a text.

This retelling has been about a month's work. As of writing this (19/6/24) it's not finished. I like writing and posting ideas, for the sake of writing as an exercise. That doesn't mean that the work that i produce is not meaningful!
In the end, it's the work you gave that gets you further in life <3.

English is not my first language, but it is one my favourite languages of expressing myself. I hope we will get to share that joy together.
