"Isn't it crazy?! Like, how come no more people are talking about this?" A hufflepuff girl screamed at her slytherin boyfriend, tugging on his arm profusely.

"I fear whatever Hogwarts has to bring, people are going to be less surprised."

"THIS IS NOT WHATEVER! It's not everyday that a 12 year old Azkaban convict gets appealed of his sentence, DUE TO HIS SUPPOSED victim turning up in his cell!!! Minutes after an explosion!" A Gryffindor girl melted to the floor from excitement besides the Hufflepuff, who nodded at her friends reaction.

"See?! That's what I'm looking for! The right amount of shock."
The slytherin boy shook his head laughing, lifting his hands in surrender.

Andromeda lifted her back of the wall she was leaning on. A tiny smile had made its way to her face.
Maybe things would be fine. Maybe she could find balance.

As if on cue, she relieved the point of the wand touching her back, in her memories. Her smile trembled.
She could find new friends at her new school.

Start over. Beauxbatons was a great school, she had heard; Nicholas Flamel had studied there. So she would be fine.
A hand on her wrist broke her from her thoughts.

A small blonde Gryffindor girl smiled shyly.
"Hello, um Mr Filtch told me to tell you that Sir Dumbledore wanted to speak to you. That's all." She turned around, and started skipping along the wooden bridge.

A feeling of dread caught up in her throat.
"Thanks!" She called out, and run inside the castle. She walked slowly along the corridors, taking snapshots in her memory to appreciate the school for the last time. She reached the furthest corridor of the school, looking up at the already withdrawn statue, that created a staircase towards Dumbledore.

Step by step, hesitation alternated to confidence. Unfortunately for her, the moment she stepped inside the office, hesitation had taken its turn.

Snape was standing beside Albus.

"Miss Black. Please sit."
She approached the seat, holding her head high.

"Before you say anything! I just want to make my case. I understand you want to expel me, do however you please. But have a little compassion and do it after I'm finished with the exams! It's only a week! Just one! I won't be getting out of my room  until then. I don't have the time or the resources to transfer to Beauxbatons, and I won't be moving to America anytime soon! Just please let me leave after!" Her cheeks turned red, as she placed her elbows on Dumbledore's wooden desk, joining her hands in a praying motion.

Her head rested at the desk, her eyes trailing all over the carpet pattern below her.

"Miss Black please get up." Professor Snape urged, sighing in annoyance.
She reluctantly let go of the desk, sitting in the chair in front of them. Her hair was a mess, her cheek botched up from something she didn't even know. Gunpowder was all over her forehead, and her hair stinked of sulphur. She kept sniffling.
