"The Ministry is here. They are performing the Kiss any minute now." Annie fell from her bed, hitting her knees on the floor. She didn't die. She was in the infirmary. She looked up in shock, as Dumbledore gave her a hand to help her get up.
Who saved them from certain death?

Hermione waited anxiously, stomping her foot. Harry was as pale as the ghosts that roamed the castle.

With a wince, she got up.
"Sir please. How do we save them?" She begged, her voice rough and quiet from yesterday's events.

"A broken clock is right, twice a day! Should you divide and conquer, you can save two innocent lives. You know the rules Miss Granger." Dumbledore whistled as he walked out of the infirmary.

"Of course!" Hermione whispered, as she took a giant pendant clock out of her jacket.

"Wha-what is going on?" Ron croaked, as he streched. His foot was wrapped up in bandages, though his face was cleaned up from yesterday's wounds.

Annie wondered about the blood on her back. She grazed a hand on her waist, only finding a closed suture.

"Sorry Ron. You could slow us down. Only two people will go." She said, turning the winding.

"Hope you mean three. I'm coming." Andromeda said furiously.

"Two people in the past is already a threat to disrupting the future Anne!" Hermione replied.
"But that's exactly what we're doing!" Andromeda put her hands up in frustration.

"He's her father Mione." Harry muttered to her, making her sigh.

"Come, come on. We need to squeeze right."

Everyone huddled into a tight hug. Though it felt emotionless, and suffocating instead of their usual ones. Hermione wrapped the golden chain of her necklace around their heads.

And with a 'Poof!', the daytime outside the window, turned into a murky depressing afternoon.

"7.30? Where were we yesterday at 7.30?" Hermione asked looking at them both.

"Going to Hagrid's? Hermione wait?" Harry yelled out as they started running after her in the halls.
"We can't be seen. Now come on." She yelled back.

The moment they went outside, Annie was absolutely sure they had gone back in time. Yesterday's humidity and cold wasn't as telling, as the henchman himself polishing the axe.

"Coming back to see it up close?" He smirked, showing rotten flesh and a wicked look in his eyes.

She momentarily stopped, dazed. A shout from Hermione made her start running again to the wooden bridge.

They stopped abruptly at the end, hearing familiar voices. Annie would love to see Draco getting punched twice within 12 hours, but Hermione pulled her back against the wall with Harry.

"This is a time-turner. This is how I've been gettting to my classes all year, McGonagall gave it to me, first term." She explained, holding it out in the palm of her hand.
