The Portal

CH. 4!!!

It was the afternoon when Skyla was heading toward the mall again. She was going to meet Ceylan again, since the first time he didn't show. She sat down in a diner that was across from Mr. White's shop.

Not again, she thought sighing. Then since she was waiting, she thought she would go see what Mr. White was up to. So she gets up and walks across the street and opens the door. When she opened the door, a little bell on the top of the door ringed.

" Mr. White? It's me, Skyla. I came to say hi."

Nobody answered her call.

" Weird," Skyla said to herself. So she started to look around. After a few minutes, she was about ready to go back and wait for Ceylan when she saw a door. It looks like it goes to some sort of basement. She opens the door and sees a hallway with shelves of books on either side.

" Creepy," she said shuddering. Before she could stop herself, she bumped into a wall. Guess this is the end. Weird, She thought. 

Then suddenly the wall the wall starts to open. To her surprise, there was another room in the back. In the corner of her eye, she can see a faint purple glow in her pocket. She pulls out the brick Mr. White let her keep. 

" Woah! This thing is glowing!" She said amazed. It stops and she focuses back on the giant machine in the room.

" It looks like some sort of portal," Skyla said walking slow towards it. Then she hears footsteps behind her. She turns around and a robot was walking towards her. 

" Oh my God!" She yelled and ran away from the the oncoming robot. 

She was standing underneath the portal. Then, a beam of light cam from above her. The light was bright and she could she what was happening. She felt and weird feeling in her legs and feet. She looked and saw that her legs were pixelating into nothing. Oh no!! She screamed in her head. It was moving quickly up her body. Then everything went black.
