The Brick

Chapter 3!!!!! Remember, this is still the same day as in chapter 2.

Atfter lunch, it was 1:45. Skyla said goodbye to Terra. She planned to walk around Benum City until she had to meet Ceylan in the park. So she kept on walking, looking in window shops and listening to her music. Suddenly she was knocked out of her thought when someone yelled,

" Watch out!"

Skyla looked up and a soccer ball come flying straight toward her. not knowing what to do, she held her hands out and shut her eyes. To her surprise, she had caught the ball.

" Wow, nice catch!" Said someone across the field. Skyla then realized she walked straight onto a soccer field.

" Sorry about that. Toxsa doesn't really play sports."

" Oh that's ok. Hey, Toxsa." Skyla said.

" Hey."

" Since when do you play soccer?"

" I don't. Well not this version. I play sports in the virtual world."

"  Not surprised ." Skyla said while giving him a look.

" Wanna join us? Maybe I can give you a few pointers. And maybe you'll pick it up faster than Toxsa did. Unless you already know how to play."

The boy speaking had yellow hair in the front of his head and looked sort of like a star, and the back was orange. 

" Oh I'd love to, but I'm actually meeting someone soon." Skyla checked her watch and saw it was only 4:05.

Well I don't have to meet him until 5:30, she thought. " Ya, I'll play for a while."

" Yes! We have unlocked an allie!" Toxsa said in a dramatic voice.

Skyla and the the blonde haired boy looked at him with confusion.

" What? You can unlock allies to play with you in Doomsploder 5!"

Skyla rolled her eyes and asked him to pass the ball. Then she kicked it toward the blonde haired boy.

" I'm Skyla, by the way." she said after passing the ball.

" Cool. I'm Chooki."

" Oh and maybe I could teach you a few things," Skyla said stealing the ball away from Chooki.

" Hey!" He yelled after her. They passed the ball for a while until Skyla realized it was getting late. She checked her watch and it read 5:27.

" Oh my God! Sorry but i gotta go guys! See you around!"

" See you later!" Chooki said.

Skyla started running as fast as she could to the park. By the time she got there, it was 5:29. Just made it, she thought. The park had different shaped objects on the grass and on the left was a big tree. On the edge of the park was a fence where you could look out and see all of Benum City.

" Wow." She said in awe. She checked her wrist watch and it was 5:34. Weird, she thought, he should be here by now. Skyla decided to wander around and figure out where everything was. By the time she got there, the sun had already started to set. When she was about to turn back, she saw an old shop on the corner. Skyla started walking towards the shop with curiosity. To her surprise, the shop was filled with dusty and old things.

" Look at all this junk! It must cost a lot." She said to herself. Then she spotted a purple object in a glass box. She looked more closely and saw it resembled a tiny purple brick.

" It's just like to one Guren had," Skyla said quietly.

" Is there something I can help with?" said a voice from behind. She froze and turned around to see a man. He was wearing black but had a long white coat over it.

" Oh! I"m really sorry! I promise I didn't touch anything!" Skyla said apologizing.

" That's quite alright. I don't get that many visitors. Now, is there something I can do for you?"

" Well, I'm looking for this boy that has blue hair and is wearing goggles on his head. Have yo seen hi-"

"No I don't know who you are talking about. Is that all? Ok you can be on you're way now," the man said interrupting.

Skyla looked at him with confusion. " You sure?"

" Yes, yes, now," The man said clearing his throat, " I see you have found something. What is it?"

" Well, it's this thing," Skyla sad pointing to the small purple brick, " May I see it?"

" Yes you may."

Skyla took it out of the glass container and held it. Immediately she had an image flash through her mind again. But this time, the image was a robot  with purple armor with the head of a fox and a tail that was being attacked by another bigger robot.

" Woah," Skyla said feeling dizzy.

" Are you alright?"

" I'm not sure."

" Here, come with me and have some warm tea." 

Skyla followed the man upstairs to a lounge room. He poured some tea for her and sat down. After drinking it, she felt better.

"Thank you for the tea. But I'm afraid I have to get home now."

" I understand completely. Now go , you don't want to be late getting back to Terra."

" Thanks. By the way, I'm Skyla."

" I am Mr. White. It was nice meeting you."

 Skyla walked out the door and started to head home when she stopped dead.

" Wait a minute," She said to herself, " I never told him about myself or Terra. Maybe they've met each other and she's told him about me." After this thought she kept walking. When she arrived at home, it was dark and Terra had already gone to bed. She walked up the stairs and opened to door to her bedroom. Skyla sat down one her bed and her puppy, Kira trotted in from the hallway.

" You don't happen to know Mr. White do you?" Skyla said joking around. The puppy tilted its head in confusion. Skyla laughed and laid beside her dog and fell asleep.
