So I usually listen to music before I go to bed, right? And the song I'll Be There came on and I was hit with inspiration! And remember kids, any type of cancer is a serious issue and not something to laugh about! I myself have had a few friends and relatives who have had/had experiences with cancer, and it should not be taken lightly! I hope you enjoy and don't worry, if you need a shoulder to lean on I'm here~!

(I'm going to be your best friend in this btw! I needed someone to fill the role and I was like, hey, I love you all, I shall be your friend~ Oh, and please note that I do not know that much about Cancer so I had to google it and do my research. Some of the facts may not be 100% correct!)

Can you see me, my love?
Up there above?
When you were dying,
I was dying too.
Look for meaning in song,
But the meaning was gone
Cause I was crying
Right along with you.
If the heavens may break,
I hope for our sake
That if they ever do,
I'll be there with you!
The beeping of the heart monitor filled the tiny hospital room. It was a constant rhythm, seemingly never ending as it pounded on. Though it was music to the doctor's ears, as it meant that the person it was connected to was still alive. The door to the room creaked open, and in stepped a young girl with brown and blue glasses, her dark brown and red curly hair swaying with her steps. She stepped up to the bed where you lay, a sad smile gracing her face.
You cracked your eyes open and blinked against the harsh light when you heard the door open. "Hey... How are you feeling?" The familiar voice of your best friend cut the silent air as your gaze finally cleared and focused on her. The mood in the room was melancholy, and you knew you had to do something about it. "I'm feeling pretty good, thank you." A small smirk formed on your face, "How's it going with you and you know who?"
Her sad smile changed as a light blush and a pout formed. "There is nothing going on!" The mood lightened at the small tease and you knew you had done well. You struggled to sit up in bed, your frail arms and legs not used to moving anymore. Silver, your best friend's nickname, quickly leaned forward and put a hand to your back to support you.
You wrapped your arms around her neck and hugged her. "I'm gonna miss you..." A strained laugh came from her. "Me too..." The door to the hospital creaked open yet again.
I woke up feeling the same way
That I did yesterday.
Don't know what these tears would say,
But I miss my friend that went away.
I watch the seasons as they go:
The rain, the sun, the heat, the snow.
