Hello again, readers. Sorry for the long wait on the next chapter, school started and I've been pretty busy with that. I also learned that I might need surgery to fix my jaw so I've also been worried about that. I'll find out if I actually need it in a few more weeks when I go back to the Ortho. Anyways, I just wanted to stop by and say something before you read the story. Please do not comment "update soon" or anything like that. It will not make me update any sooner, I will update when I update. Your comment will be ignored if you say anything like that and my will to update will decrease. It's sad to know that more than half the comments on your story are people yelling at you or asking you to update. DON'T. Anyways, enjoy the story!

The walk through the forest was rather... awkward. Not that you could tell, though you could see the other two were slightly uncomfortable. You could sense the presence of a powerful being up ahead, and knew that you were close. The whole way there your black book was glowing, only fading for but a fraction of a second. Ahead of you an old looking mansion came into view. You couldn't tell if it was beautiful or not.
Jack opened the door and stepped inside, you and Jeff not too far behind. The front foyer of the mansion was rather grand, with dark colors and many paintings and a few seats. Past that was a large and open room with multiple doors leading to other rooms. The three of you went for the door to your left, the presence of the powerful being getting stronger. Jack knocked on the door while Jeff left the two of you, heading towards one of the doors on the right where loud voices were coming from.
Jack opened the door and the two of you entered. The office was darkly colored, just like the rest of the mansion, with more paintings and chairs. A large dark wooden desk filled with paper and other things sat in the middle, calling the attention of those who walked in. Behind the desk sat your old 'friend'. He stood up when you entered and motioned for Jack to leave.
"Hello, (y/n)." A small smile graced your face at the sound of your name.
"Hello, Slender. It's been a while, hasn't it?" He nodded and motioned for you to sit down. You glided forward but did not sit. "I'm afraid something has come up." He sat down in his large chair and entwined his fingers together on the desk. You continued on. "My book has become... inaccurate. People have not been dying the way they are supposed to. For example, the last girl I found died from your little friends when she was supposed to get hit by a car. I'm sure you know what the consequences will be if this continues on."
Slender nodded thoughtfully. "I see... And I suppose you wouldn't have an idea on how to stop this?" A smirk formed on your face. "I do, actually. I purpose that your group stops killing for about a month or two." His head snapped up at the suggestion. "And how would that fix it? Some of them happen to live off of killing." You nodded. "I know that. However, if your group stops killing I could go after the ones who are dying in different ways and correct them. I believe that your killers are the reason this is happening. You send them on one or two missions, where they're supposed to kill one target, correct?" Slender nodded again. "Well, they've been killing more than their target. They kill the intended one and then go after a few more, and it's messing with the system. They're killing people are not supposed to die yet, people who are supposed to die in a different way. It's throwing it all off track, and I think that if you stopped for but a month, I could fix it."
"I see... That could work, I suppose." A sigh escaped him. "They're not gonna like it though." "It does not matter if they like it or not, if they want to continue killing they're going to have to follow through with it."
"Very well. There will be no killing for a month."
