(A/N - I procastimated on this part waayyy too long, my bad guys. Yeah, I hope yall didn't expect me to write too much on this, I'm not giving you a play by play on her reactions to the fights. I'll write the important parts, though!)

Evidently, I slept through Todoroki's whole schpeel about not having friends and his whole loner phase. I'm sure you can tell how much I care.

I got into the lineup for the race and popped my neck like it was a glow stick.

I was very sad to see it did not shine like one.

Midnight said something I didn't bother paying attention to, and a bell sounded.

Todoroki's ice crackled against the ground and froze everyone, spreading like a flood.

A sigh escaped my frozen chest as I looked down. "RUDE!"

The ice around me shatters quickly after I pull my leg out of it, hardly dettering me.

I so do not want to deal with the whole 'Everybody after me', so I'll just do this part quirkless.

My feet pounded against the ground at an increasing pace. Adreniline flooded my veins as a wild smile coated my face, and air exploded from my lungs. This was freedom for me.

Running has always been something I was good at, when it was like this. I never felt this rush in drills or doing laps, but this, this I could do forever.

Maybe it was chaos of the crowd rushing or the dangerous fighting with tooth and nail to be first. Or maybe it was the way my heart pounded in my chest from the excitement from the danger of people who wear willing to punch, kick, and mutilate others for their most sincere form of pleasure.

Either way, the mayhem of it all was, without any other way to say it, liberating.

The others hardly stood a chance even with me on foot, and those who did quickly found out what happened when they got in my way.

I thrived in the mayhem of it all, running faster and faster and faster, my feet hitting the ground feather light.

Then the robots appeared. Kirishima and Testu's thing had already happened, so it was really only a speed bump for me.

So my footsteps got faster still.

Rope caught my visage, and my smile only widened.

I jumped, and the crowd gasped.

"AND KAMIKO JUST JUMPED TO HER DEATH!" Mic's voice filled the stadium, and the crowd bated its  breath. "Can they sue us for that?"

I plummeted down into an endless pit, perhaps doomed to die or at the very least heavy disfigurement. At least, that's what everyone else saw.

In actuality, I was having the time of my life using the rope like monkey bars.

The ropes chafed against my hand for about thirty seconds before I climbed back up on the other side.

"OH MY GOD, SHE'S ALIVE, FOLKS!" The relief in his tone was evident. "WHAT A DARING DISPLAY!"

A laugh escaped my chest as I sent a thumbs up to the announcers box.

Chuckles resounded from the audience.

And finally it was the minefield.

Midoriya was staring at mines while Bakugo and Todoroki went head to head.

I scoffed.

YOU FOOLS, I'VE BEEN PLAYING DON'T STEP ON THAT COLOR OF SQUARE FOR YEARS!

I slowed slightly, playing hopscotch in a minefield.

That last line sounds like it belongs in a Fall Out Boy song. Not long enough to be a title though.

Midoriya went 'boom' and flew forwardswhile I caught up to 8 squares behind the boys.

Them three ran faster, utilizing their quirks.

I maintained my pace, far too enamored with my little game.

Someone's footsteps got louder and I sighed audibly as I sped up.

"Kamiko, you aren't using your quirk?" Momo the actual queen, carefully navigated the mines next to me.

I waved happily, switching to a skip to match her pace. "Oh, hey girl! Yeah, don't tell anyone, but I got to see show from the last few years, and the best place to be really in this race is tenth to twentieth. Anywhere else is kinda rough."

Her eyes widened as she let out a gasp. "Really? Thank you for the advice!"

I nodded, skipping faster now. "Oh, sure thing! Us girls have to stick together, right?"

She gave me a determined smile. "You're right!"

We made our way to the finish line together, right at tenth and eleventh place, discussing rich girl things like daddy issues.
