" Thanks...." Jungkook spoke hesitantly, doubting the sudden change in atmosphere.

The boy was left alone for the day as Jimin and Taehyung went to main center of London due to some important work. He was getting bored so thought of roaming around the mansion.
The place was huge but due to the gradual discussions on the fashion week outfits and work , Jungkook never got the time to really look around the place.
So now when he was all alone in the house getting bored , he thought of doing it on his own.
A pair of foot steps clicked against the black shiny marbled floor as Jungkook dragged himself on the second floor of the mansion. It was the first time he was going there.
He wanted to go there but as no one really went there , the thought of going up there slipped too.
He was going upstairs when suddenly Maria came and stopped him. "Sir, where are you going?"
He smiled at her softly before replying , " I am getting bored. Those two left me here all alone."
She chuckled softly before nodding. " I know. So you are going upstairs ? " Jungkook nodded. " Ok. But if you need something make sure to tell me. Hmm?" Jungkook smiled before Maria went away and then Jungkook went upstairs.
As he went there, he saw the entire hallway empty. Like , there was no furniture , no paintings like the ground floor and first floor and it also looked like that this floor was kinda..... abandoned.
Why this looks so empty?
He walked further the floor and saw that there were only three rooms on that floor. Each of very different colors. One gate looked really beautiful with a look of office entrance. He tried to open it but it was locked.

he went to the second door and it was also locked. He knew he was being more curious than needed but he also knew that no one would say anything to him .

And then he went to the last door. It was the most different door when compared to other of the entire house. This lone door had really light color with walls white marbled to unless all the other door work dark shade of black and grey.
The double door had glasses but they were opaque so he couldn't see through them .
A sigh left his lips at the thought that he had to wait until Taehyung came so that he could see what was in those rooms.
He was about to leave when he was Maria standing behind him with a cold face. She didn't look happy but she didn't look pissed either. It was like a face that one would have before doing a sin they knew about.

" Oh! You startled me!" Jungkook exclaimed wheezing out a breath. " Why are you staring at me like that. " he asked when he saw her facial expressions.
" You look disappointed. " She stated looking at his face with a minimal frown. " Oh yeah. I wanted to know what is in these rooms but they are all locked. " He said starting to walk but Maria brought up her hand and what Jungkook saw made him knit his eyebrows.
" Keys? " He asked looking at the bunch of keys in Maria's hold. " Yes. These belong to those doors. " She said.
" But why are you giving them to me? " He questioned.
" Didn't you want to look inside them?" She asked.
He looked at her briefly before nodding hesitantly. " Yeah...but I can open them when Taehyung comes. "
" But he will be very tired by then, will you trouble him at the late hour?" Maria asked.
Jungkook nodded to himself looking at the keys because that lady had a point. " Yeah, you're right. But I can do that some other day too. "
" All these days I have seen you either working or scribbling on your papers. I don't think you will get time for this , some other day. " She convinced with peculiar eyes which made Jungkook a little bit of off place but he agreed on it, later.
" Ok then. thanks for the keys. " He said grabbing them from her, smiling at her.
She smiled back , but it didn't reach her eyes. " Sir..." She called out as Jungkook pushed a key into the lock of the blue door.
" Yes? " Jungkook questioned twisting the key in the lock. " Do you know what you have done? "
Jungkook's wrist stopped doing any movement as his heart sunk in his stomach hearing her voice. She sounded ghostly. Cold and empty.
His neck craned in her direction with a brief worried frown. " W-What are you talking about ?"
" You are the one who took keys from me, right? " She asked making Jungkook frown deeper.
" Yes. So? Why are you talking like that? " he questioned suddenly getting nervous of the way she was looking at him.
" Nothing. Just am telling you that don't forget them by keeping them anywhere. I will have to close these rooms later. " She smiled suddenly and looked as if nothing occurred a second ago.
" Huh? That's it?" Jungkook asked.
" Yes. That's it. " She replied smiling at him.
He sighed heavily before saying, " You know, you didn't need to make that face."
" What face? " She asked getting a shake of head from him. " Nothing. "
" Ok then. I shall leave. " She said walking away and soon enough the door was opened too.
He huffed before pushing the door open.
And as soon as the gates were pushed , he saw a view that made his eyes go wide in shock.
He never expected this. He never thought that the second floor could have this and now he understood why no one came upstairs usually and why these rooms were locked.
