As Jungkook's eyes were wide with pure shock and utmost expression , his feet trampled against the floor with heart beating an unknown beat , throat parched , hands trembling and beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead.
He couldn't believe his eyes. Everything that he had kept aside from his life. Everything that he hated. Everything that he was scared of. Everything that he had almost forgot about. Everything that was once his nightmare. Everything that had almost ruined his life , was now in front of him.
Framed.
In a big Portrait.
Smiling.
A soft and warm smile.
A smile that was nothing but a nightmare.
With that smile , that thing ruined Jungkook.
His childhood.
His life.
After all those years. After all that suffering , it was back in front of Jungkook.
Whatever that accident had made him forget was back now.
The accident that occurred 7 years ago made him forget everything. He knew he had a past. A bad one.
But he could never know about it. Because his parents---- his adopted parents never revealed anything.
Yes.
Han and Bertha were never Jungkook's real parents.
They had adopted Jungkook when he was 16 years old and due to a car accident he forgot about his past which ultimately lead him to ignoring it.
He didn't want to know about it. He could feel that it was something bad. He wanted to know for sometime but when Bertha and Han pleaded him to not ask anything , he was left with no choice but to completely let go his past.
But now when he was looking at the portrait, a very particular face that was hazy in his dreams , was now clear.
He used to ignore that face because it never gave him a bad feeling but now when the face was so clear to him , it had turned his life upside down into a complete nightmare.
There was a lady framed beautifully with a big smile and frill purple gown.
A beautiful dress.
He then slowly started to remember everything that was faded because of the accident.
He slowly started to remember the conversations.
The conversations that he had with his brother.....His Step brother.
The fight.
The time when his father brought an unknown woman when his mother left him.
No---- when his father pushed her away.
When his step brother came in his life , when everything was falling apart and he could feel nothing.
When he told his father to die.
When his father actually killed himself.
When he became an orphan and when.....he lost his brothers.
His two elder brothers.
The step brother whom he loved more than anything.
The step brother who was now nowhere around him.
Jungkook's head started to ache as black and white unclear faces, started to flash in front of him. Laughs, giggles, chats, words. He started to remember everything which was going to ruin him.
