"Okay, what is going on? I leave the store for a minute and all of a sudden I miss some blood-soaked girl appearing out of thin air who also happens to be the last Slayer and why did nobody bother to call me when all this happened?" Cordelia exclaimed, bursting through the front door after Angel had belatedly realised she was missing.

"Sorry, Cordy, we-"

"Forgot about me," she interrupted with an unimpressed gaze and Angel sighed, ashamed.

"Well, yeah. But it's not like I wasn't thinking about you...in my subconscious," he stammered and both Buffy and Cordelia narrowed their eyes at him.

"I give up," he breathed and Iris giggled softly.

"Cordelia, Elma. Elma, Cordelia," she introduced and Cordelia's eyes flicked to the girl.

"You're the Slayer?" she asked and Elma nodded.

"Welcome to the group then. Buffy's the blonde one who thinks she's the leader of everyone even though she has no idea what to do most of the time, Willow's the red head, she's a witch, Tara's her wife, she's a witch too, barely says a word but when she does she'll probably offer you soup, that guy over there who forgot to call me? He's Angel, just don't listen to a word he says, Iris is Willow and Tara's adopted daughter, the dark haired guy is Xander, I dated him in high school, he's a complete dork, he married the other blonde one who's a kind-of demon, she's Anya, their two kids are Hattie and Ethan, the old guy is Giles, the one who kinda looks like Buffy is her klepto sister Dawn who almost got everyone killed once or twice, that guy over there looking like the whole world's against him is Gunn, the girl with the dark hair is Fred and she's married to the guy in the glasses, Wesley who think he's the most intelligent guy in the world but really knows nothing except the name of some random demon from the 1700s. And I'm Cordelia Chase," Cordelia spoke, finishing with a large smile, as if she hadn't just insulted nearly everyone in the room.

Elma grinned.

"I like you," she said and Cordelia silently fist bumped the air.

"Point to Cordy!" she hissed in Angel's ear.

"Not to interrupt this...wonderful initiation into our Multiverse of Madness, but something tells me Elma being here is putting a huge target on all of our backs. And we don't even know what she's doing here," Gunn interjected.

"Dude, take a chill pill. Not everything's the end of the world," Cordelia sighed in exasperation.

"It is when we're involved," Gunn shot back and the room erupted into a chaos of chatter and playful bickering.

"Guys!" Iris yelled over the top of the noise, causing everyone to quiet. "Why don't you actually let Elma tell her story? She asked for your help and so far none of you have done much to help her except give her basic human needs of not being covered in blood,"

Elma smiled appreciatively at Iris before taking a deep breath.

"Something's after me. A lot of something's, I think. And I've tried to fight it off on my own but I can't. There's this guy, he owns a metaphysical store near where I live and I told him about seeing all these weird demons and figures in my dreams and stuff and he was the one who told me that I'm a Slayer, but according to you guys I'm the last Slayer, which is kinda...I mean, no pressure, right? This guy told me about the prophecy, and he said that there's a Chosen One living in Sunnydale, so I came here to find you, but I was a little lacking in the knowledge department when it came to the fact that this town isn't exactly what you'd call a safe haven, and there was a...I don't really know what it was chasing me and I shot it with my crossbow but then this person appeared at the last moment, like the thing just turned into this person and, it-it looked like a girl and then I started thinking that I killed a girl and then she was dead and I was covered in blood and when I stopped screaming she disappeared so I don't know if I'm crazy or not and then I asked someone who looked like they were gonna pass out when they saw me where the address that the man gave me was and I came to your store and then-"
