You stared at his eyes, but you wouldn't allow them to push you back again. You wouldn't swallow things again this time; you threw the spoon across the room and opened your arms, completely torn.
"Then what the fuck you want me to do?!" You asked him, tearing up. You didn't want to bring this up again. It's been a year and being with Calum has been marvelous; he brings you up when you're down, he is funny, cheeky, caring, lovely - a gentleman. He has been perfect to you - especially when Luke left you. And now, one year later, he comes back. You don't want to loose Calum. You simply, c a n t loose Calum.
He looked down at you for a bit, quite surprised at your sudden reaction.
"I want you to listen to me, Y/N. Because I won't only talk to you for the last time in our life, as I will spoil the happiest day of your life, right now."
You were confused. How would it be the last time? Why? Why the happiest day of your life? Why? What?
"Just- let's just sit." He said, calmly, leading you both to the balcony. You both sat in a little sofa in the corner, you crossing your legs turned to look and pay attention to him.
"Calum didn't go out for beer." He told.
. . . ?
"Oh?" You asked, curious.
"He was out to get ready to propose to you, Y/N."
"Pr-pro-propose?!" You tried your best not to scream, but a grin escaped your lips, and remained at the corner of your mouth.
"It was all planned out, well, it still is. My part is to take you there, and it was also meant to be a surprise, but as this is my goodbye to you, I had to spoil it." He held out a little messed paper, full of ink. By far you could notice - his handwriting.
"Goodbye?- no, why? Lucas-?"
He looked at you and held his finger to his lips, telling you to be silent a little. You nodded, still misunderstanding it all.
He swallowed dry, and began.
"Dear Love of my Life, Y/N. This is the wedding vow I'll never say..."
