"Lucas, I-"
He ignored you and looked at his phone, it was vibrating - a message.
It's time. He looked back to you - not really hoping anything. He simply nodded and offered you his hand, getting up and waiting for you.
Silently, you grab it and get up with his help. You both make all the way to his car and he starts driving.
What now? You're about to say yes to the man you love; or believed to love. Is it possible to love two guys at the same time? Best friend? But- before it all, do you do love Lucas?
Love is a sick game, and you can only leave with one, and hurt the other - that's the rule when one more player joins the game. And if you could, you'd find a way for you to be the one hurting, but you're not the side that depends. You're the side where the others depend on.
Suddenly, you find yourself sitting next to Lucas, silently. The car has stopped and he is staring forward, blankly. His hands are wrapped around the wheel, in a look of defeat. His eyes look weak, and he isn't truly hoping for much.
"Lucas?" You called for him, in a weak tone.
"Yes?" His eyes slipped slowly to yours, tired and sad eyes. The bright blue in his eyes had lost it's intensity. He had lost you.
You simply leaned in and kissed him - it's your last time. Probably your last chance. Do you love Calum? Do you love Luke?
Do you love?
You pulled away slowly, as his eyes kept closed. He swallowed dry, and nodded.
You opened the door and got out, hearing him doing the same behind you.
"Hey- it's a surprise. Don't ruin it." He said to you, standing next to you.
You hugged Lucas tightly, and thought of every happy moment you had with Calum - and Luke. It was impossible not to think about Luke. What scared you is that your thought s wouldn't be only on Calum for the rest of your life next to him; but also on Lucas.
You walked in, Calum kneeing and holding a ring. A huge sign surrounded with candles and rose petals in a room made of windows.
It was pure perfection.
You walked to Calum, forgetting everything that just happened. This was perfect. Simply perfect.
"Would you, Y/N, give me the lovely honor of marrying me?" He asked, calmly, looking deeply in your eyes.
You smiled "Calum, I-" you looked back and saw Lucas standing on the doorway, ready to leave. You looked back at Cal, that was smiling widely.
"Calum, I-"
