So I'm thinking this maybe only has like 5-8 chapters left, It's makes me sad to think this part of there story is almost ove I'll need to start planning the sequal. You know I could even make this a trilogy...

Harry's Pov
You know on a summer day, when it's dry and humid, but still so beautiful and warm, the skies are cloudless, pure and perfect. Then a dark cloud creeps in and many more follow. Eventually, the sky is black, but it's still warm like the sun is still there even though it's actually not. That's what Mia is; she is the sun hidden by my dark clouds, but her warmth and her brightness is still with me, even though I cannot see her I can still feel her.
"Why are you reading The Notebook?" Gracie's mocking voice disconnected me from my thoughts.
"I'm not." I clear my throat and snap it shut with one hand.
"That is like the most feminist book you could pick up. Go read The Prince of Dawn, you girls blouse." She snatched the book from my hands and plays with the pages like she's never seen a book before.
"It's a book..." I say slowly scrunching my eyebrows.
"Yes." She snaps. "I know that. Dad is doing something new with me and I keep forgetting things.... like I don't even know but it's messing with me and I wish he'd stop." She exhales.
"Just say something to him, then."
"You know I can't do that. We can't do that, we don't have the right." She places her hand in mine and squeezes with reassurance. "We'll be fine."
"Gracie, do you think you can do me a favor?"
"Of course, what's up?"
"I need you to give that book to Mia and this box." I lean down and pull out a thin, but long box from under my bed.
"What are you planning?" She gives me a cheeky smile.
"Oh, yeah. There's something else we need to talk about..."
Mia's Pov
I wondered who I confused more today, Harry or myself. I knew I had issues, but doesn't everyone? However, when it came to Harry, I felt like I had a fresh start with everything, like it was his iridescent smile or the way his eye changed like the seasons. Whatever it was, I was addicted to it. I was addicted to the way my body felt when his skin touched mine or how my lungs burned from exhilaration when he was near. I had fought so hard to keep him away. I didn't want him to hurt me, but then I realized it wasn't him hurting me, it was myself. Keeping him away was more painful than anything I had ever felt before. It was worse than my father leaving us, which is probably when the root to my trust issues sprouted. When he left us with a note saying, 'One day you'll understand', but he left my mother with two infants, two daughters he could rightfully call his own and yet he still left with no explanation given. If he loved my mother, he wouldn't have left, if he loved Candice, he wouldn't have left and if he loved me, he wouldn't have left and yet, he still did. This hurt me so badly, like when I was 8 and I asked my mum, "Where's daddy?" or when I was twelve, "Does daddy not want us?" or when I was 15 and eventually I turned round to my mother and said, "He's never coming back is he?" and she replied with, "I have watched you stare at that door for fifteen years every single morning of your life, like he's going to bust through and whisk you away, but darling, it makes me sad that you always get your hopes up and he's always letting you down. So no, I don't think he's ever coming back," and at that point my hatred for him grew along with my hatred for life and for the living. Even though I still resent so much, I always have my mother's words to hold onto. After I realized my father was never coming home to us, I acted out, skipped school, was never home, harmed myself. I did everything to show myself that I was the reason my father left us, I blamed myself.
I was crying myself to sleep one night, when she came in. She was crying as well. I had blood on my sheets, scars on my arms, and tears running down my cheeks and she said, "People build up wall, not to keep others out but to see who cares enough to break them down. I know that this is hard for you, but you can't keep doing this to yourself. You are a beautiful, strong girl and I am so grateful to call you mine. The world is a messed up place sometimes, baby girl. You're gonna have good times and you're gonna have times that really suck but that's life. You just have to suck it up and jump the next hurdle. Your father is a stupid, stupid man but that's his mistake, not yours, so you will stop blaming it on yourself. Do you hear me, young lady? It's often in the darkest skies we see the brightest stars. You my girl are my star," and ever since that day I've been waiting secretly for that person would would care enough to break down my walls, but still it's hard to trust someone so much that you're really giving a part of yourself to them and sometimes we don't have parts to spare.
"Mia, honey. There's someone at the door for you." My mother's voice echoed through our quiet house.
I lept up from my bed and I jogged down the stairs to see Gracie standing by the door with a white box in her hand and what looked like a book lying on top of it.
"Hey, what up?" I greet her politely and kiss her on the cheek.
"A lot.." She had this smile on her face, but I couldn't just place why. "This is for you." She squealed and handed the box and book over to me.
"I don't.." I began.
"Just take it. Trust me, you'll want to. I have to go, I was just dropping by to give you this, but I'll see you later.."
What? But before I could say anything, she left and I just stood there with this box in my hand and my mind fried. I sit down on the edge of the stairs and look at the book, 'The Notebook'. There was a label sticking out of the middle of the book and I turned to the paged. There were some words highlighted in blue "So it's not gonna to be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, everyday...." My tears had dropped onto the page making little creases in the paper. I wiped them away and shook my head and continued to read. At the bottom he wrote, 'turn to the last page' so I did and there was another note waiting for me, 'Open the box'. I cautiously opened the white box to pull out a beautiful white dress. It was thin material, it was simple, but so beautiful with a lace pattern along the bottom and top hems of the dress. Which made me cry more. There was my last note, a card lying on top of it, 'I want you to come around tonight, wear the dress, and be here by 7pm. I have a lot of explaining to do. P.S. Wear the grey butterfly broach. I find it only fair you have one too.' The broach sat at the bottom of the box facing me. It looked exactly like the tattoo I'd seen on all of Harry's family and then, I read over his words again. 'I find it only fair you have one too.'

Wow that was a really long chapter you guy but I seriously couldn't stop writing. I opened a huge door to Mia's past which will become a big thing in the story and I ask gave you more clues with Harry and Gracie, what are your theories? Anyhoo I hope you liked this chapter and I will more than likely update tomorrow. Byyyee.
