Chapter 3 - Tensions Arise

As Richard answered the phone, the voice he would hear would shock him to no end as he knew who it was.

Richard: Gorou?

Gorou: Richard??? What's going on? How do you have Ise's phone?

Richard: Can you come to the Underworld, I can explain everything to you in person.

Gorou: I can't. Remember, your father is the one who banished me, so I can't disregard that order.

Richard: I'll come to your house to get you, consider that banishment null and void, this is important.

Gorou: Alright, fine, I'll wait for you.

Richard: Is there anyone who'd be coming with you?

Amaterasu, on the other side, nodded at Gorou as a signal that she would be coming with him to the Underworld .

Gorou: Yes, there is someone who's coming with me.

Richard: I'll see you soon.

[Call Ended]

Miki: Gorou, who was that?

Gorou: Ahhhh, that was Richard.

Miki: You don't mean Richard Lucifer?

Gorou: The very same.

Amaterasu: How does he have Ise's phone?

Gorou: I don't know, but he'll explain when he gets us.

Amaterasu: I see.

Timeskip - Five Minutes Later

A Lucifer Circle appeared in the Hyoudou Home, and out came Richard as he still had a major scowl on his face, Gorou approached him and bowed.

Gorou: Lord Lucifer.

Richard: Gorou rise, there's no need for that.

Gorou: So what happened? Why do you have Ise's phone? Where is he?

Richard: Come with me. I'll show you. Who's coming along?

Gorou: My mother in law, Amaterasu.

Richard had a look of shock and disbelief as the Shinto Queen appeared from upstairs.

Amaterasu: Lord Lucifer.

Richard: Lady Amaterasu.

The two Faction Leaders shook hands as they greeted each other, whilst Naomi came from upstairs.

Naomi: Dad, let me come along.

Gorou: Naomi, I'll call you or your mom to tell you anything. Right now, you need to stay here, I'll update you, okay?

Naomi whilst teary-eyed, nodded to her father's request while she hugged him. Richard also took the time to talk to Naomi

Richard: You must be Naomi ,yes?

Naomi: Yes, of course, Lord Lucifer.

Richard: Please just refer to me as Uncle Richard. Your father is one of my best friends, and I promise you, we'll update you on what's happening, okay?

Naomi: Of course, thank you, Uncle Richard.

Scene Change - Private Lounge, Serafall Memorial Hospital

Richard, Gorou, and Amaterasu then teleported to the private lounge and found Valerie, who had brought food for him, Grayfia, and Kanna.

Richard: Vali?

Vali: Uncle Richard, Aunt Grayfia informed me of what was going on, so I wanted to bring some food for you all.

Richard: Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Follow me, I'll show you as well.

Amaterasu, Gorou, Richard, and Vali walked to the Trauma Unit where Tatsumi was, and he'd found Kanna already asleep covered with a blanket as she holding his left hand as Grayfia was holding his right. Richard whispered to Grayfia as he called her over.

Gorou: Grayfia, it's nice to see you again, though under these circumstances.

Grayfia: Same to you, Gorou. It's an honour to meet you, Lady Amaterasu.

Amaterasu: It's nice meeting you, Lady Lucifer.

Gorou: So where is Ise?

Richard: He's in there, in critical condition. Kanna is asleep beside him.

Amaterasu: What happened for him to be in critical condition? He was so happy earlier when he was leaving for the date he had, only for when he wasn't coming home, that we find his bracelet in a pool of blood.

Grayfia: Uhhh, that is because when I found him whilst walking in the park in Kuoh, he'd been stabbed with a light spear. It nearly hit his heart. He just barely survived, though his lung collapsed.

Amaterasu had a look of silent fury, with a glare that scared even the Devil King.

Amaterasu: Weren't the teams of our deal Richard that no person be killed on Shinto Territory?

Richard: That is factual, but I've found out that this was, in fact, a setup.

Gorou: What kind of a setup? Don't tell me to gain a peerage piece?

Richard: Yes, it was, and the culprit who did it was Rias Gremory .

Gorou: How can you be so sure?

Grayfia: Richard found a Gremory flier in the pocket of his jacket just before you called, and he connected all the dots from there.

Richard: I intend to confront this problem head-on when I go to Kuoh Academy tomorrow to see both Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri.

Amaterasu: I see, but then what is with the heavy security around, I understand you, Grayfia ,Kanna, and Valerie are here, but isn't this overkill?

Richard only shook his head and showed them the forensic report, which shocked both Gorou and Amaterasu.

Gorou: He's your son??!!!

Grayfia: Yes, he was abducted 15 years ago by the Khaos Brigade, more specifically the Old Satan Faction.

Amaterasu: This is just stupid on so many levels. Because of this, he might be afraid to love again or even trust others again. Just simply because of that one fallen angel who deceived him.

Richard: I'll talk to Azazel about this whole predicament tomorrow after meeting the peerages.

Amaterasu: I'll try healing Flames to see if they can't help accelerate his rate of healing, after all light spears and devils do not go well together. He is my grandson after all as well.

Richard: Thank you, Lady Amaterasu.

Grayfia: Richard, what do we do now?

Richard: I am not going to let this slide. This almost caused war between the Shinto and Devil Factions, I'll nip it in the bud.
