'Long ago the four nations lived together in harmony, but that all changed when the fire nation attacked. 'Centuries ago, the being known as the Avatar became the first being to wield all four elements: Earth, Fire, Water & Air. However, what they don't know is that the first Avatar learned the bending abilities to show his frail younger sister, Ying. As he learned that bending could make her body stronger he begged for her to take up bending as well. Ying had the four bending inside her like her brother Wan.' The voice explains before a young girl is shown standing beside Avatar Wan, 'However, Ying's body became even more unstable. Wan used the avatar power learned from the Lion Turtles and he removed a bending ability from her. He would do anything to save his baby sister. After just removing one bending ability, Ying's body stabilized and Ying became known simply as the Savior.' Ying is shown opening her eyes and looking up at her big brother. Wan's eyes were filled with tears as he hugged his little sister.
'What did Ying save? She saved Wan from becoming power hungry. Wan only used his powers to save the world. Ying and Wan protected the world for years. Ying was able to survive to adulthood and she married a young man who could waterbend. When Ying gave birth to a son who was also able to take on her bending capabilities, she and Wan learned that Ying's bending style was hereditary. However, Wan's life was cut short and the Avatar abilities passed on to a random child. Ying sensed the child's birth and so did her son. Ying and her son met with the parents and explained the situation. Ying's son went on becoming the confidant to the next Avatar and began the time honored tradition of the Savior being the guardian of the Avatar.' The voice continues as Ying is shown teaching her son before her son is shown teaching his child. Eventually Roku and a young male are shown bowing to each other.
'For centuries, this has come to pass. Until 100 years ago when the world thought that the Avatar cycle was broken. My family's power was sealed away, resigning ourselves to only one bending. I was born from a Fire Nation Noble's son and an Earth Bender who simply demanded they get married because my mother was the granddaughter to the last Savior and the Fire Nation wanted control of the Savior's power. My father Chang loved my mother Jia Li for her, not for what his father wanted him to love her for. However, while she carried me, she felt something was off about me and urged my father that they should leave the Fire Nation. It wasn't safe for me. That didn't go over well with my grandfather and my mother was imprisoned in the house until she gave birth to me.' The voice explains as a long light brown haired woman is shown hugging a black haired male whose arms were wrapped tightly around her before a baby girl with light brown hair is shown.
'As I grew, it became apparent that I was a bender. Before I could walk I could use both fire bending and earth bending, like both my parents. My mother's fears had come to pass when I was taken from my parents soon after. I was taught water bending by a water bender prisoner and the Fire Lord was pleased to know that I was the Savior which meant the Avatar was alive. He demanded I be kept at his side and I didn't understand anything. I was practically raised in the palace where I became close to Prince Zuko, the son of the youngest two Princes, where I was placed to be looked closely after and that is where my story begins.' The voice explains as a girl with light brown hair and blue eyes is shown walking behind Zuko who was recovering from his Agni Kai fight against his father.
"Zuko, please, let me help you." The girl pleads as she and his uncle follow behind Zuko. Zuko was in a hot headed, angry mood, as usual, the sweet Zuko she once knew, was gone.
