[A Few Days Later]

Xia and Zuko look out at the temple hanging from the cliff side. It was beautiful, but Zuko's mind was elsewhere. Iroh takes a deep breath as he takes in the view.

"What a stunning view!" Iroh exclaims.

"The only view I'm interested in seeing is the Avatar in chains. First we'll check each of the air temples. Then we'll scour the world, searching even the most remote locations until we find him." Zuko exclaims.

"Prince Zuko... it's only been a week since your banishment. You should take some time to heal and rest." Iroh suggests.

"What else would I expect to hear from the laziest man in the Fire Nation?" Zuko growls out.

"Zuko..." Xia says in a soothing tone.

"The only way to regain my honor is to find the Avatar. So I will." Zuko continues. Iroh sighs and Xia looks at Zuko with a concerned look.

"I would not presume to tell you how to conduct your search, nephew. But you were told very little about the Avatar when you were a boy. Perhaps if you knew more about the lives he has already led, as well as the Savior's past, you would have a clearer picture of what you are searching for." Iroh suggests.

"How many hundred-year-old airbenders do you think there are? I know enough." Zuko responds. Something about that statement was wrong. Xia thought about it herself. She knew nothing of the Avatar. She was thirteen and knew nothing of her family except what she was told. Her mother and grandfather didn't receive the Savior powers, they weren't able to commune with Lady Ying, the first Savior for her teaching or any of the other Saviors. Come to think of it, Xia couldn't yet either. She's never really taken the time to.

"The previous Avatar, Roku, lived at the fire temple on Crescent Island with his savior - Haoyu, Xia's great grandfather. Haoyu raised his son Qian until his and Roku's deaths. The sages there know more about them than anyone else in the world." Iroh explains.

"That Island is weeks off-course!" Zuko snaps.

"Haoyu and Qian. Great Grandfather and Grandfather..." Xia whispers.

"You've been neglected in knowing your family's past as well, Xia. I bet you didn't know that Qian was just two years old when Haoyu died." Iroh explains.

"No, I didn't know that." Xia replies.

"Everyone thought that he'd take on the Savior powers, and he did, but after a few years, he felt something change. He woke up and could only waterbend." Iroh explains.

"And according to Fire Lord Ozai, my mother was an Earthbender." Xia says.

"Most Savior's first bending is opposite to that of the Avatar's." Iroh explains.

"Wait what?" Xia asks.

"What was your first bending?" Zuko asks.

"It was... like my mother's... Earthbending." Xia explains, "She thought she was going to have a little Earthbender. Then I sneezed and fire sort of... exploded out of me. One of the last times I saw my mother was that time. A look of horror crossed her face."

"Why was Qian a waterbender if Haoyu was also one?" Zuko asks.

"The first time he bended was just after he'd seen Savior Haoyu waterbend. At the time, Roku was still Avatar, so in the event that Avatar Roku wasn't finished with his training, Qian could still guide him." Iroh explains. Xia looks down as she thinks about what Iroh's taught her.

"If I started as an Earthbender... Then the Avatar must be an airbender. But that would mean he's gone through the other four elements." Xia mutters to herself. That would be impossible given the 100 years.
