I awake to hear delinquents bustling about the camp, getting back to the tasks from the night before. I sit up and roll out my shoulder. Just about all the soreness is gone. Jasper has been screaming and groaning all night, the other teens are getting agitated. I stand up and dust off my pants. If I'm gonna make it out here I have to find a way to find food for myself. I remember in Earth studies class we learned about how the native americans made arrows and spears from sticks and sharpened bones. I remember the animal we ate last night and what was left after we ate all of the meat. Someone has to know where they dumped the remains.

I approach the dropship entrance where I see wells sitting outside. "Wells." I call out. He looks up to me with a confused look. "What did they do with the bones from dinner last night?" I ask

Wells' brow raises. "Why do you need to know?"

I sigh. "So I can find it dumbass." Wells opens his mouth to speak again but I cut him off. "WIll you just tell me?" I say.

Wells pauses a moment before speaking. "I think they dumped it out in that direction." Wels points toward the woods.

I smack him on the shoulder. "Thanks." I walk over to the woods and begin my search.

I'm far out from the camp now. I found the bones and stuck the biggest ones in the makeshift bag I borrowed from Wells. He doesn't know I took it but he'll be fine. I bend down to pick up another one when I hear some boys running around. "Get him!" They are chasing after some animal. I look over to see Bellamy handing a knife to a little girl. I walk over to where Bellamy and the girl are standing. "Hey!"

Bellamy looks up to see me walking over. "What are you doing out here?" Bellamy stands up and pulls his hatchet from the tree.

I look at the hatchet then the girl. "I could ask you the same thing." I stand closer to the girl as she makes eye contact with me.

"Just teaching Charlotte here how to hunt. Isn't that right?" He looks to Charlotte and she nods. I don't trust him out here with her alone.

"Great, then you won't mind if I join. Right Charlotte?" I wrap my arm around Charlotte's shoulder and shoot a condescending smile at Bellamy.

"Can she come, Bellamy?" Charlotte asks innocently.

Bellamy looks at Charlotte then me. "As long as she doesnt slow us down. Cmon, let's catch up to the others." Bellamy takes off toward where the other boys went.

As me and Charllotte catch up to the others a yellow fog comes from the distance. Another boy reaches out to touch it and immediately screams in pain. I take Charlotte's hand and begin running the opposite way, the other boys following pursuit. A horn bellows in the distance as we run from the painful gas creeping up on us.

"Come on! There are caves this way." Bellamy veers right and I tell Charlotte to follow ahead. I stay behind Charlotte with Atom behind me as we follow Bellamy, getting separated from the others. Bellamy grabs Charlotte's hand and pulls her forward. I follow close behind when I hear Atom grunt and hit the ground behind me. We all turn around to see Atom get swallowed up by the fog screaming. I turn back around to see Bellamy continue to pull Charlotte forward and run after the two. He pulls her into the cave and I look back to look for Atom.

"Bellamy! Bellamy!" He shouts in pain. I go to run after him when suddenly I'm pulled into the cave by Bellamy.

"Let me go!" I shout, pulling against Bellamy.

"You can't go after him!" Bellamy grabs my shoulders. "You'll get yourself killed."

"So you just want to leave him?" I shout.
