To say that (Y/n) had been overcome by joy after finally completing Touya's escape passage would be an understatement. To put it lightly, it was as if angels had flown down from the highest peaks of heaven, and used their blessed hands, illuminating with the purest of light, to lift the stacks of mountain-sized boulders set on their back, whilst the innocent laughter of children echoed around them in the process.
They hadn't realized how much stress they were carrying until it had all escaped in one fold. Their muscles felt so much more flexible, their face was less strained, and their attitude more elated. The night after, they had managed a miracle: a full night of uninterrupted sleep. Almost un-interrupted. They had suddenly woken up in the middle of the night, their body probably confused about why they were taking such an unusually long nap.
Touya was so dumbfounded by their awfully joyous mood, and for a few moments thought they might have been replaced by an imposter.
However, despite the astounding milestone they had finally crossed off their list, there was an obviously much bigger obstacle disrupting their plan: All for one. A well-hidden tunnel along with quirk interrupters and an exploding house, seemed enough to even escape from heroes and the police force combined, but All for one was superior and exceedingly powerful than both forces.
(Y/n) had never witnessed the full extent of his terror, but the man had an unlimited stash of quirks that he had been collecting for over 100 years hoarded up in him, it wasn't a far assumption that he might be able to easily evade all these traps.
So (Y/n) wasn't going to allow themselves to fully ease up just yet
(Y/n)'s jaw clenched once they heard a soft click sound from the door before them, indicating it had been unlocked.
"Yes...?" A soft voice murmured from the other side of the door. (Y/n) expression tightened as they felt a strong constriction in their chest, it felt suffocating. It was nothing new however, they knew this feeling was a result of utter shame and guilt. The sensation always impaled them whenever they were at her door. At Kurose's doorstep.
They stole a sharp breath in response and braced themselves as the familiar woman came into view. The door creaked open slightly to reveal the faint figure of Kurose Anan. Her short, ear-length hair with blonde roots and navy blue locks were the first things (Y/n)'s mind absorbed from her image, along with her tired, Hazel eyes.
As soon as Kurose's gaze locked onto (Y/n)'s face. The fatigue that (Y/n) had taken notice of a split second ago had completely vanished and had instead been replaced with extreme alertness.
The woman stared for a few seconds, unmoving, then went to close the door, only for (Y/n) to stop it with their foot. (Y/n) spoke, desperation laced in their tone.
"Please just-"
"For fucks sake!" Kurose let go of the door and turned around while simultaneously throwing her gloved hands up in frustration. (Y/n) was almost taken aback by how quickly she allowed them to enter her apartment. (Y/n) hurriedly walked in and quietly shut the door behind them in order to not wake up and alert any neighbors.
"Please hear me out," They pleaded as the woman gave them her back, her fingers messaging her temples in clear exhaustion. "I promise you this is the last time I'll ever ask any favor of you."
"You said that last time." She turned around slightly and flashed them a bitter glare. "And the time before that." (Y/n) pursed their lips and looked away in humiliation.
"I know- I know I said that and I... This once, just help me this once and you'll never see me or hear from me again." They clasped their hands together and lightly shook them. "This isn't about me-"
