Once Cyno arrived at the hospital he rushed to Tighnari's room to see that he was "asleep". Mr. Avidya was sitting in a chair his head in his hands. "Mr. Avidya what's wrong." Cyno's voice was shaking was he to late? "The disease has progressed to far even if they were to do the surgery it would be to risky." Cyno's eyes widen and his heart drops. "I'm going to talk with the doctors to see what our next move is." Tighnari's father for out of the chair and left the room. Cyno's eyes stung with tears. His fist clenched.
"Nari..." his voiced chocked up with tears. "I'm so sorry I wasn't fast enough to save you from this." Tears rolled down his face. "I'm mad at myself for not seeing your pain sooner what kind of friend I'm I?!" Cyno collapsed to his knees. "I'm a failure. I was the one to stand up for you and protect you but I failed to when you needed it the most. I'm sorry." Cyno body was shaking as his tears fell to ground. The room was quiet beside the sounds of beeping machines and Cyno's sobs. "Tighnari...I-" the doctors started to open the door.
Cyno got up and turned his face away to hide his tears. Mr. Avidya had tears running down his face. As one of the doctors was about to pull the plug Tighnari's father stopped them "can we just have a little more time please?" The doctors nodded in understanding before leaving the room Mr.Avidya said his goodbyes as he kissed his son's forehead for the last time. Cyno was still trying to keep his face hidden. "Anything to say Cyno?" "N-no sir.." Mr. Avidya nodded as he went to get the doctors.
As the doctors came in and got ready to stop the life support. Time seemed to slow down has Cyno thought about everything. His mind was racing he wanted to cover his ears to block out the noise but it was useless. As the doctor reached for the plug to stop the life support. With out thinking as if his body was on autopilot. He grabbed the doctors hand. Stopping it the doctor looked shocked along with Tighnari's father. "Please let me just spend some time alone with him for a little bit long I beg you please."
The doctors looked around at each other before they left for a second time along with Mr. Avidya. Cyno turned to face Tighnari. cyno grab his hand and he whispered. "Tighnari I know you probably can't hear me anymore but I want to say." His voice stuttered and cracked. Until he just said it with out thinking. "I love you Tighnari!" His sobs again as he held his "best friend's" as he listened to the sound of medical machines beeping rang in his ears. He closed his eyes blocked out all noise until he heard coughing. His eyes shoot open and he looked to Tighnari who was coughing.
Cyno froze but soon started to cry tears of joy and he hugs Tighnari. The doctors and Mr.Avidya heard the coughing and rushed inside the room to see Tighnari awake. Tighnari's father began to cry as he to joined them in the embrace. "Cy-cyno?" Tighnari wheezed. "Save it for later when you fully recover." Cyno nuzzled him.
