A poison ( cynari )

A past

Many people wonder what is the meaning of love. Oh I'll tell you Love is poison one that can ether eat you from the inside or make you feel warm. But you never know witch one your going to get so why risk it when you alright been poisoned once.

Tighnari was sleeping in a restless sleep. He woke up gasping for air his cat jumped "sorry socks..." Tighnari looked around his room was dark and covered with post cards. He looked at his phone "3 am damn. I don't think I can go back to sleep Socks." Socks sat in Tighnari lap and looked at him. " don't look at me like that." Tighnari said with tears streaming down his face. He thought back to earlier that night.

"AGH. Why did seeing the picture hurt so much!" Tighnari said in between sobs. Socks paws at him. Tighnari strokes Socks head. "I should be happy for him and Nilou but I'm not and I hate myself for it." He whispered to himself. Tighnari got up from his bed and walked to the kitchen.

He opened his fridge "not much here i guess I have to go shopping after school tomorrow." He closed the fridge and walked to a cupboard and grabbed and glass and walked to the tap. He turn it on to fill his glass with water. He starts to drink it the coldness of the water felt like it was flowing through his veins. He puts down the glass and walks to the living room. " I wonder if I have enough Mora for groceries." 

He moved one of the curtains to see out the window. The world was dark not a single thing out there. The only thing glowed was the street lights. " Even the world looks lonely." He moved the curtain back. He looked back the house. He walks back to his room and grabs his phone and then headphones. He open his phone he then plugged in his headphones. He opened Spotify and started to listen to music.

Tighnari closed his eyes and drowned himself in the music and darkness. Even though his eyes were closed he couldn't sleep. His mind was flooded with Cyno's eyes and warm smile.
'He won't leave me alone' Tighnari thought to himself. Socks jumped on to Tighnari's lap.

Tighnari remembered being gifted Socks.

"Hey Nari!" Tighnari turned around to see Cyno, Kaveh and Alhaitham. "Hey what are you doing here?" Tighnari asked Kevah smiles. "We got you a present!" Kaveh said.  "A present but it's not my birthday nor the holidays."
" it was Cyno's idea." Alhaitham said with his head in a book Kevah glared at him. "Anyway come on Tighnari!" Cyno walks over to Tighnari and gives him a box. There was some holes on the side of it. Tighnari open it there was a kitten sleeping in it. It was gray with white paws. "You guys got me a cat?" Tighnari picked up the kitten. "What are you going to name him?" Kaveh asked Tighnari looked at him and then the kitten. "Socks."

Tighnari opened his eyes and got up. Socks was sleeping next to him.  Tighnari looked at his phone it said 7am. " I guess today is a new day."

( hello author's note here sorry if this is boring I'm writing this at night but I really hope y'all enjoyed I'm gonna try to get ideas for the next chapter but writers block is a thing🥲)
