Aemyra's pov

Curse me for not wearing a coat over my leathers.

I shivered to myself as I flew in the crisp chilly air of the North.

The flight to Winterfell was longer than the travels my brothers have encountered. Hopefully their trips were more smooth sailing than mine.

Tessarion was so intrigued with the snowfall that our flight took a few unnecessary turns.

"Paerī!" I commanded Tessarion once we've reached the outskirts of the Winterfell wall.

The Blue Queen roared as she slowed down her pace.

"Parmot." I shouted as we grew closer to the tall doors of the Castle entrance.

She obeyed my order and flew down to the snowy white grounds beneath us. Once she finally stood on the ground I looked to the gates where the guards stood.

I dismounted and she maneuvered her wing to make it easier for me to jump down from her.

"Umbās!" I said to her calmly as i ran my hand along her scaly neck.

She looked at me before eyeing the guards at the gate.

I fixed myself up before making my way to the entrance.

"Im Princess Aemyra Velaryon. I bring a message to Lord Cregan Stark from the Queen." I informed them as I shivered slightly.

The guards nodded before signaling for the tall doors to be opened.

"Follow us, my princess." They bowed their heads before heading inside Winterfell.

I took a few steps forward before turning to Tessarion. I didnt feel safe leaving her out alone. If I were to stay here then i would need a safe place for Tessarion.

Then I continued my way inside.

There I stood in a huge courtyard with snowflakes landing on me.

The longing stares of Northerners as I stood there completely lost. One of the guards went to go get Lord Cregan I assume.

I never stepped foot in the North before this. I must say I was quite fascinated by this place. I walked towards the center of the courtyard as I watched in fascination as everyone just did their duties. Quite a few men building something along the wall by the gated doors.
