*trigger warning: suicide*

Aemyra's pov

"You're all wet because of me." I said to Cregan who was currently picking out a night gown for me to wear.

He was still in the clothes he was wearing when he found me, cold and drenched in snowy water while he tended to my needs. He turned back to me with a silky nightgown in his hands.

I took a mental note about how he chose a purple one. Cregan definitely likes purple.

"Its fine." He said for the 60th time.

"Its not fine." I argued as he made me raise my arms up.

I did as told and watched as he put the gown on for me. The gown slid on with ease, covering my exposed body.

"I'll clean myself up after I'm finished."

"Should I give you a bath?" I tried to make a joke. Cregan stifled a smile as he led me to the vanity.

"No you may not, princess." He answered before sitting me down on the stool.

He then grabbed my hairbrush and unleashed my wild hair from the towel it was wrapped in.

I looked in the mirror as Cregan began to brush out my hair. "You know I can do this myself right?" I smiled at him as he gently brushed out the knots.

"Okay here." he tried handing me the brush.

"Actually no it's okay. You can do it." i changed my mind as i pushed his hand away. It felt good when he did it.

"Thats what I thought." He said before brushing through more sections of hair.

I sat there in silence as he brushed out every knot. He was patient with each stroke, ensuring he didn't pull the hair from my scalp. Then he took the towel to get any excess water out.

I closed my eyes as his hands ran through my scalp then down the lengths of my hair. "Everything about you is perfect." He commented before setting the brush back down.

I stood up before him, faces inches apart. "Thank you." I said to him as he just nodded his head.

"You should get some rest princess." He said before walking to the door.

"Where are you going?" My brows knitted together as I stayed glued to where I was.

"I have to get water for my bath." He smiled at my worry. He was about to walk out with no explanation.

"Oh okay." I stood there like a fool as he made his way out the room. Snowstorm remained at his usual spot on the floor. I decided to make way to our bed. I laid on my side of the bed in silence. There was no way I was getting rest until Cregan was ready for bed.

I slipped under the sheets and waited patiently for Cregan's return.

He then came in with a few handmaidens trailing behind him with hot water. They all filled up the tub before leaving.

I watched as Cregan undressed himself fully in front of me.

"Are you sureee you dont need my assistance, my lord?" I questioned him from our bed, a smirk on my face.
