3rd Person POV

"Jake! You're late!"

"Apologies, Princes-"

"Stop calling my sister that"

Aha. The trio everyone adores. Simp, his Princess and Angry Grape. Isn't this perfect?

Jake and Hailey have been dating for a month now. They hang out together and they're having a good time but nobody knows that they are dating as they agreed upon it.

And Zander is absolutely not fine with the fact that Jake and Hailey are so close. He's always considered that they are being suspicious and Milly agrees. Sean and Luke however think they are just best friends.

Right now, Jake and Luke are hanging out at Hailey and Zander's house and as usual Jake is late.
"Princess!"
"Yeah?"
"Catch this!"

Jake throws the songbook in her direction and she catches it while Zander lectures Jake about how she could get hurt.

Soon, Hailey convinced Zander to leave Jake and her alone in the room. After Zander left for his room with Luke, the room was surrounded by a cozy atmosphere.

Jake had his arm around Hailey as they sat together on the bed. They were laughing and joking around, enjoying each other's company.

Hailey grabbed a cushion from behind them and jokingly hit Jake with it. He playfully retaliated by poking her gently on the side.

They continued to playfully tease each other, until Jake grabbed a pillow and hit her back with it. They started a pillow fight, laughing and squealing as they hit each other with pillows.

Just then, Michael (I felt awkward calling him 'Hailey's dad') walked in. He chuckled at the sight of them covered in pillows and feathers. "Having a little fun, are we?" he asked with a smile.

Jake and Hailey sheepishly looked up at him. "Just a friendly pillow fight," Jake said with a grin.

Michael chuckled again. "Well, try not to make too much of a mess. And don't break anything."

With that, he left them to continue their fun. Once he was gone, Jake and Hailey broke into giggles.

"That was close," Jake said, grinning.

Hailey pretended to be offended. "Close? We were perfectly innocent."

"Innocent my foot," Jake said, still grinning. He then pretended to push her playfully. "You were totally throwing that pillow at me with all your might."

"Pfft, as if you weren't doing the same," Hailey retorted, sticking her tongue out at him.

Jake feigned offense. "Me? Never. I'm a gentle soul, remember?"

"Sure you are," Hailey teased, rolling her eyes. "A gentle soul who just happens to have a competitive streak a mile wide."

Jake chuckled, not denying it.
"Alright, alright. You got me there. But you're no saint either, you know."
