The song in the title is "No Body, No Crime" by Taylor Swift

3rd Person POV

Jake steps out of Zander's house, his heart pounding in his chest. The streets are dark and empty, the only sound coming from the occasional car passing by. He takes a deep breath, his eyes sweeping the surrounding area as he tries to figure out where to start looking.

He starts walking, his footsteps echoing on the pavement. He feels a mix of fear and determination coursing through his veins. He knows he may be putting himself in danger, but he doesn't care. He needs to find Hailey.

He walks for hours, his eyes scanning every street, every alleyway, every corner. He checks every possible place where someone might hide a hostage. He checks abandoned buildings, vacant lots, and even the city's parks. But there's no sign of Hailey anywhere.

Jake walks along a deserted road, his mind racing as he scans the area for any signs of Hailey. Suddenly, his eyes catch sight of a small scrap of fabric stuck on a barbed wire fence. He walks closer, his heart skipping a beat as he realizes that the fabric looks familiar.

He reaches out tentatively, grabbing the scrap of fabric and analyzing it closely. A feeling of dread washes over him as he recognizes the fabric as being from one of Hailey's shirts.

Jake sits on a park bench, his mind racing as he tries to come up with leads. Suddenly, memories from his past come flooding back. Memories of Drew, Liam and Henry. He remembers how they used to bully the music club together not so long ago. He remembers Drew used to joke about kidnapping girls and how he got offended when Jake, Liam or Henry told him that it's going too far.

Jake's POV

Who did it?
Who did it?

Henry's a friend of mine
We used to meet up every weekend for dinner and a gaming night
Henry had been losing sleep
He was acting different and it felt like something wrong
He says, "That ain't the Drew I used to know"
"That ain't the harmless rich guy of our group"
No, there ain't no doubt
I think I'm gonna call him

I think he did it but I just can't prove it
No body, no crime
But I ain't letting up until the day I die

Drew wasn't there
Gaming night at Henry's house, at school, or anywhere
We wonder where he's been
And I noticed when I passed his house, it's got some extra locks
And the basement's usually shut
Never invites us to his place now
No, there ain't no doubt
Somebody's gotta catch him out
'Cause

I think he did it but I just can't prove it
No body, no crime
But I ain't letting up until the day I die

Good thing I know the exact map of his house
And good thing with Henry and Liam I've got our friendship talked out
Good thing I've got enough guts to commit atrocities
Good thing he took out a big life insurance policy
