The song in the title is "I Know It Won't Work" by Gracie Abrams.
3rd Person POV
Liam and Henry freeze, their eyes wide in terror. "Knife? What are you going to do, Drew?"
Drew smirks, a cruel glint in his eyes. "Don't worry about it, guys. Just hand me the knife. It's time to show Blueberry here who's really in charge."
Liam and Henry seem shaken. "You can't kill her!" Liam exclaims.
Drew's patience is running thin. "I'm not killing her, not until I've tortured her enough. I just want her to know what's going to happen the whole time she's here. Now, hand me the damn knife or things are gonna get ugly."
Liam and Henry look at each other, torn between their loyalty to Drew and their conscience. They both know they can't let things go any further. But they also know Drew is unpredictable and dangerous.
Henry finally speaks up, his voice tremulous. "What happens if we refuse?"
Drew's eyes narrow. "Then things get messy. And believe me, you don't want to go that route."
Liam swallows hard. "What does that mean?"
Drew grins, a sickly sweet smile. "It means I'll make you regret defying me. And I can get very creative when I want to be."
Liam and Henry exchange a desperate glance. They know that Drew isn't making idle threats. He's capable of anything.
Henry speaks up again, his voice shaky. "If we give you the knife, what happens next?"
Drew's smile twists into a cruel grin. "You'll see soon enough. Now, hand it over."
Henry reluctantly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pocketknife. He holds it out with trembling hands.
Liam watches in horror as Drew takes the knife from Henry. His heart is pounding in his chest. He knows that this is going to lead nowhere good.
Drew takes the knife and holds it up, admiring it in the light. "Ah, perfect. Just what I need."
He turns back to Hailey, a wicked gleam in his eyes.
"Now, Blueberry, are you ready for things to get interesting?"
Hailey's eyes widen in horror as she sees the knife in Drew's hand. She tries to protest, but the gag in her mouth muffles her words. She struggles again, trying to escape, but her efforts are futile.
Drew chuckles at her struggles. "Don't bother. You're not going anywhere. And I have a feeling you're going to enjoy what comes next."
He moves closer to her, the knife glinting in the light.
Hailey's heart is racing in her chest as Drew approaches her. She tries to pull back, but she's already against the wall. She can feel the coldness of the blade as Drew runs it along her jawline.
Drew grins at her reactions. "You're so cute when you're scared. I didn't realize how much fun this would be."
Liam and Henry watch the scene in horror. They can barely take their eyes off the knife as it touches Hailey's skin.
Drew runs the knife along her cheek, admiring the way she flinches. "You shouldn't have crossed me, Blueberry. Now, you're gonna find out what happens when you mess with the wrong people."
Tears begin to stream down Hailey's face. She's never been so scared in her life. Her body is shaking, her heart racing. She doesn't know how much more of this she can take.
