Ch 9: USJ Part 1

Aizawa gave a quick rundown of the special training for the day. There would be three teachers for this lesson, which made sense due to the media breaking in the other day. 'Better to play it safe.' I thought. All Might would be joining us, along with another hero specializing in rescue training, which was the main focus. Aizawa left as his phone ringed, I walk to the front and look to everyone. "Grab your hero costumes or gym uniforms, whichever you prefer to wear and meet up at the bus. Oh, Mineta?"

The grape haired boy flinched and met my eyes before they widened, cracking my knuckles as a Venom covered half of my face. "Try and peep on the girls changing, you'll be visiting the infirmary." He shook his head vigorously, my voice mixed with Venom's deep growl, making it sound demonic. The rest of the class went to change as I headed for the bus. My nanotech suit formed over me as I approached Aizawa who was looking down at his phone, sighing as he pocketed it before looking up to the roof of the bus to see me sat on it.

"First again, you trying to be a star pupil?" Aizawa raised his brow; I could hear the sarcasm dripping from his voice. "No, just waiting for everyone, and my suit is always on me anyway." Aizawa shrugged and turned away, letting me relax on the bus for the time being.

A few minutes pass with awkward silence which was broken by his phone, he cursed under his breath as he looked at it. "Looks like All Might won't be able to attend the first half of the lesson, he was caught off guard by some reporters."

"Can't blame him, that's the downside to being a popular hero. Reporters are always pushy and trying to find the latest big hit, give them an inch, they spin a mile long tale. I know that well enough." I spoke the last part with a bit of annoyance and venom, he easily noticed the shift in my tone before sighing. 

"Guess you're talking about the reporters saying your quirk was that of a villain, stating you're a threat to the people around you." I just gave a curt nod, I heard him sigh and he looked to me.

"The media can be like that, but don't listen to them. They twist words to get more views, ratings, and attention. Just ignore them, do the opposite and show them that you are a hero, no matter how much they try to push the other way. Show them you are the hero the people need." I chuckled a bit before jumping down, adjusting my web shooters before looking to him. "So underneath the cold teacher is a softy who gives out advice, who would have thought?"

I saw a smirk grow on his face before he pulled the capture weapon up to hide it. "Don't tell anyone about this, or else I'll expel you." I smile as everyone came out, waving to them before muttering loud enough for Aizawa to hear. "Whatever you say, Dadzawa."

Aizawa glared at me as he stepped onto the bus, everyone following just behind. I sat with Mina and Tsuyu on either side, across from me was Izuku with Ochako beside him. Aizawa said it would be a while until we get to the USJ, since it was off campus, everyone discussed each other's quirks. 

"Your quirk is a lot like All Mights. *kero*" Tsuyu stated, catching Izuku off guard and causing him to stammer and stutter, not sure how to respond.

I chuckled a bit before I decided to cut in to cover for Izuku. "I can see what you mean, but All Might doesn't hurt himself when he uses his quirk. Besides, Izuku is a late bloomer and only had his quirk for a few months." 

Tsuyu and the ones that listened looked surprised; Izuku added his quirk was an accumulating type, which he thought would explain the reason why it didn't show at first. A few looked skeptical, seeing how nervous he was, which is a given since lying was never his strong suit. "I can understand why your skeptical, but I'm in the same boat as Izuku since my quirk evolved like 10 months ago."
