Kaito slept peacefully with Ayame in his arms, the little girl smiling as she snuggled into his arms, holding her teddy bear tight. The peace was disrupted as Kaito's phone went off, the alarm playing loud enough to wake him. He groaned and shot a tendril out to silence it, opening his eyes to look around his room, the light shining through his curtains as his alarm stopped. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, looking down at Ayame and smiling, rubbing her hair softly as to not wake her.
He brought his phone over to him and unlocked it, looking at the notifications, some being random but one did catch his eye. A voicemail from his big brother, a smile formed on his lips as he played it.
Peter: "Hey Kai, congrats on getting into UA! Sorry for the late reply, busy with work and all that, but I also made you something for your future career as a hero. I spent a few days and nights working on it, making sure it would work perfectly with your quirk, I even styled it after your favorite hero, so I had lots of fun with it. Hope you enjoy it bro, don't worry about me ok, I'm used to lack of sleep. Take care, bye."
He hung up, Kaito groaned while pinching the bridge of his nose, hearing Peter yawn at times during the voicemail. He didn't wait and called him there and then.
Kaito: 'I don't care if your use to it bro, your still family and you need to look after yourself.'
The call went to the answering machine, Kaito guessing he was either busy or unavailable, he sighed and left a message.
Kaito: "Hey Pete, just heard your voicemail, thanks for the surprise. If it's anything like your other inventions, then I'm sure I'll love it, no matter what it is. Anyway, I'm just telling you now to get your ass in bed and sleep. I don't care how long you've been awake, or what time zone you're in. You're going to sleep, am I clear? I don't want Aunt May or MJ to be worried about you, and If I have to come to New York and tie you to your bed, I will. Love you big bro, talk to you later."
He ended the call and set his phone down, Ayame groaned as she sat up, her messy hair sticking up. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, leaning against Kaito for warmth, he chuckled slightly and pets her head. She looked up at him and smiled, hugging him softly as the symbiotes came out. Kaito looked at both Venom and Carnage, still wanting to get some payback on them both, in the corner of his eye he spotted the bag chocolate from the day before, a sly grin forming on his lips.
Kaito: "Hey Ayame, I think Venom and Carnage need a lesson."
Ayame: "Why, what did they do?"
Kaito: "They ate all the chocolate mom made for me, I was saving some for you."
Her eyes widen, a smile forming on her face, the two symbiotes started sweating. Anti and Toxin retreated back into Kaito, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire, the two tried to do the same but were held in place by Kaito, an evil smirk on his lips as Ayame glanced at them before hopping off the bed, she grabbed a newspaper and rolled it up, taping one end and held it up with a smile, both symbiotes staring at her with fear.
