(Taehyung's POV)

Planning a date for Y/N felt like solving a complex puzzle, but I was determined. She wasn't like most girls—she didn't demand flowers or lavish gifts, and she wasn't particularly fond of being the center of attention. Y/N was introverted, loved books, and seemed to have an aversion to overt displays of affection. I needed a way to show her how much I cared without overwhelming her. The problem was finding the right approach that would make her feel special without making her uncomfortable.

I paced my room, racking my brain for ideas. What kind of date would an introverted, book-loving girl enjoy? It had to involve food—she did love food. Suddenly, a thought struck me. I remembered something that might just be perfect.

A few hours later:

A few hours later, I was at the bus stand, nervously checking my phone. I had managed to convince Y/N to sneak out of her house without alerting her overprotective father and brothers. She had told them she was going out with Mi hi for some shopping. Mi hi, bless her, had played along, giving Y/N the perfect alibi.

As I waited, I spotted Y/N approaching. She was looking around suspiciously, probably wondering what I was up to. When she reached me, she tilted her head and gave me that penetrating stare of hers.

"What is this all about?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

I shrugged casually, trying to hide my excitement. "Nothing. I just wanted to hang out."

She didn't seem convinced but didn't push further. Her stare was intense, like she could see through every layer of pretense I had. It was unsettling but also fascinating. Being with her was like discovering a new person all over again.

The bus arrived, and we climbed on board. We found a seat near the back, away from the few other passengers. As the bus started moving, I noticed her glancing at me, curiosity evident in her eyes. She was probably wondering where we were going.

"You look nice today," I said, trying to start a conversation. Her cheeks flushed a soft pink, and she looked away, mumbling a quiet "thanks." She wasn't used to compliments, which made giving them even more enjoyable.

The bus ride was quiet but comfortable. I could feel her relax as the city's noise faded into the background. After a while, she turned to me with a small smile.

"So, where are we going?" she asked.

I grinned, happy to see her easing into the date. "It's a surprise. But I promise you'll like it."

"You know, I hate surprises." she grumbled, like an angry storm cloud. An angry cute storm cloud. "I know, I know." I grinned.

She raised an eyebrow but didn't press for more details. Instead, she leaned back in her seat and gazed out the window, a content expression on her face. I watched her for a moment, marveling at how someone so quiet could captivate me so completely.
