Old Rich Guy: Ah. The moon looks good enough to buy, Jennings. What a nice addition it would make to my collection.
Jennings: Yes indeed, sir. But some things are just not for sale.
Old Rich Guy: Everything is for sale, Jennings! Even people.
Jennings: Yes, sir. Even people.
Old Rich Guy: You should know that after fifty years with me! And another thing, Jennings, you are fired!
(Old Rich Guy starts to have a heart attack and die)
Old Rich Guy: Jennings! Oh, Jennings, I can't move.
(Jennings leaves without helping)
Shadow: I'm free!
(The Shadow goes out into town, then it goes into The Bagges' House. Courage gets scared thinking it's a burglar alarming Muriel, Eustace and Kylie from their sleep)
Courage: This is crazy. I saw a burglar, I did!
Kylie: (crouching to Courage) You did? (Looks around, looking a bit concerned)
Eustace: That's it, you're sleeping in the attic.
Kylie: Uncle Eustace that's not fair! You know how Courage is! And of course you're gonna ignore me! (Gets irritated)
Courage: But I don't wanna sleep in the attic. I'm telling you there's someone here, or my name is Shirley, and it's not.
Muriel: Eustace, must he really sleep in the attic? It's so cold!
Kylie: That's what I'm worried about Aunt Muriel.
Eustace: He seemed happy to me.
(The three humans leave for bed)
Courage: I just know something bad is going to happen.
(The Shadow comes back, scaring Courage. He breaks through the door waking up Muriel, Eustace and Kylie again)
Eustace: Did you break that door?
Courage: Forget the door!
(They look around to see nothing)
Kylie: You know, I'm actually starting have doubts on you Courage. Are you sure there was someone trying to break in?
Courage: But, but!
Muriel: Now, Courage, we aren't doing this all night are we?
Eustace: What did I tell you? If you wake me up again, you'll be sleeping with the termites, so I'm giving you one more chance to act like a real dog.
Courage: Master.
(Back with Muriel and Kylie)
Muriel: I wonder what is taking Eustace so long, he should be here by now.
Kylie: Maybe he's busy giving Courage the business like always, leaving me to do something.
(They both go to check on both Eustace and Courage only to see a shadow Eustace strangling Courage, they run and we cut to Eustace scaring Courage, Muriel hits Eustace with the rolling pin and Kylie picks up Courage. Kylie holds Courage with her left arm and her right hand holding her Aunt's hand as they leave Eustace to sleep in the attic)
Muriel: Now you sleep in the attic!
Eustace: What did I do?
(Later that night)
Eustace: I can't believe I have to sleep in the attic! Who's doing that?
(He sees a shadow figure of Courage)
