[We open with Courage and three of The Bagges, Kylie, Muriel and Eustace as Robert and Elisa are gone somewhere, Muriel is rocking in her chair with Courage on her lap, Eustace is reading his paper with it covering his face and Kylie is practicing some dances]
Eustace: [scares Courage] Ooga booga!
Courage: Aah!
Kylie: Ugh... my uncle! At least Elisa and Robert are gone off their long school trip so I don't gonna have them on my butt if I wanna screw around with our uncle! [mischievously giggles]
[the family hears a horn honks]
Kylie: What's that?
[They walk outside to see a big stage]
Muriel: Oh, my, it's a stage.
Eustace: Big deal.
Kylie: And it's got my name all over it! [laughs] See y-
[A voice is heard and smoke on the stage appears]
??? (Voice): Not just a stage, little lady. The one, the only... [the person behind that voice appears, he is The Great Fusilli] Fusilli magic stage! Heh heh heh.The great Fusilli, at your service. And I bring my world-famous magic stage right here to Nowhere just for you.
Kylie:...For me, right? Right? [gets a desperate look as if she wants to leave to be famous along with Fusilli]
Muriel: Oh, how exciting! Especially for my little Kylie! She wants to be an idol!
Kylie: Uh- yeah!
Eustace: I got my TV.
Courage: [whines]
Kylie: [looks at Courage when he whines, as if she's worried him]
Fusilli: Ah, bellissimo. The stage, she call you, no?
Kylie: Uh-uh! Uh-uh!
Muriel: Yes, ha ha.
Fusilli: Just ask my actors.
Eustace: What actors? I don't see no actors.
Fusilli: Oh, don't worry. That's the magic! Have you never dreamed of the excitement of being on stage Have you not dreamed of putting on the makeup that takes away all the cares of life? I am right, no?
Eustace and Kylie: Nope.
Muriel: Oh, I'm too shy.
Kylie: [in her head] I got a suspicious feeling about this, it seems too good to be true.
Fusilli: No. I think you could be a star! Don't you think so, too?
Eustace: Nope.
Fusilli: Just you step on the stage, you hear the applause, the cheers, the magic! All your fears, they go. And then, oh, then...you stay forever.
Courage and Kylie: [both whimper]
Courage: [tries to tell Muriel and ignores Kylie as he does so]
Kylie: Courage wait! You know how this is gonna be! She can't hear you! They both can't!
Courage: [frantic barking, tries telling Muriel about the bad feeling about Fusilli but of course she doesn't understand]
Muriel: I couldn't.
Fusilli: Do not deny Fusilli's greatest pleasure--To see the stage come alive! Especially if it's the dream of your beautiful child.
Courage: Ooh!
