[We open with a flashback to Kylie in her boarding home as a young girl]
Kylie (younger): [she mischievously tries to open a bottle of Flintstone Vitamins] Ugh! [to the other kids] Does anyone here have strong thumbs? Anyone? No?
[A much younger girl playfully bumps into Ky]
Kylie: Agh! [chuckles] Sorry, I don't play. [the younger girl starts tickling her a bit] Hey, come on! Knock it off! [she walks to a room on an upper floor] Hey, how's the flow today? [she looks out the window to see her parents drive off] Hey, hey! Whoa! [bangs on window] Mom! Dad! Don't go. Mom! Help! Dad! Mom!
[we cut to Present Day with Kylie talking to Dr. Vidaloo]
Kylie: And that was the last time I ever saw them.
Dr. Vidaloo: Kylie, I think we've stumbled on the root of your problems. You have abandonment issues. Confront your parents and deal with this.
Kylie: Are you crazy? They unknowingly just gave me away before disappearing out of existence! Well, it's their loss, right? I turned out great, huh? Am I right? Yeah! You bet your butt I'm right. You wanna arm wrestle? Come on, right now!
[Silent pause for a second]
Kylie: Actually... I am going on a trip with a close friend of mine.
[We cut to the Bagge house with Courage, Muriel, Eustace, Elisa and Robert. Kylie is on her aforementioned trip]
Robert: Uncle Eustace, if bad men broke into the house, and they had guns, and they put a gun up to your head and made you choose who you wanted to live, me or Elisa, who would you choose?
Eustace: Ask your aunt. I'm not very good with tough decisions.
Muriel: I could never choose. I love all my children equally. It's hard enough having Kylie all the way in Palm Springs with Fabio and his family.
[We cut to Palm Springs with Kylie eating food with Fabio and his little brother Jason]
Kylie: Give me a big hug, Jason. [smiles]
Jason: [Mischievously takes off her necklace without her knowing and throws it into the pocket of their family's new maid, Ada] That should guarantee some after-dinner entertainment.
[We cut to Elisa packing a suitcase when Courage walks up to her and gives her his attention]
Elisa: [sees Courage] Huh?
Courage: [knowing Kylie is the only non-magical human who can understand his talking, he gives Elisa some communication notes to tell her what he wanted to say]
Elisa: [Reading notes] "Why don't I fly out to Palm Springs and pick up Kylie?" [she looks back at Courage who smiles at her hoping for a yes] Really?
Courage: [nodding]
Elisa: Wow Courage, thanks! That would be wonderful. It'll give me time to catch up on my reading. Usually there are so many distractions.
[We later move to Courage at the vacation house Fabio and his family are in Palm Springs, Ana is seen getting scolded a bit by Fabio's father, The Duke]
Fabio's Mom/The Duchess: Kylie, gather your things. Time to go.
Kylie: It's about time! You...my sister sent the dog? Oh, oh, oh! This is... this is...Oh, don't even get me started. I... I... I... I mean, really! When I think of... of... of... of the times that that coach potato has...Oh, I won't even begin to... to... to...
Courage: Can we go?
Kylie: Fine.
[We cut to the two at the airport]
