AUTHOR'S POV
Tara and Rudra were sleeping when someone knocked on their door. Rudra woke up and walked to the door. He opened it and saw Sanya standing with the twins, who were crying.
"Bhaiya, sorry to wake you up early, but they wouldn't stop crying," Sanya explains. The twins wiggled in her arms to go to Rudra.
"Dadda..." the twins cried. Rudra took both of them in his arms.
"Shh, baby, don't cry. Your Mumma is sleeping," Rudra cooed softly. The kids stopped crying when they heard "Mumma." They looked at Rudra with shiny eyes.
"Mumma?" the kids whispered with a chocked sob.
"Sanyu, you go. I'll take care of them," Rudra muttered in a sleepy voice. Sanya told him she had changed their diapers and fed them milk. Rudra closed the door and moved towards the bed. The twins' eyes fell on their mother sleeping, and they chirped happily.
"Mummaa!" they both chirped with happiness. They were thrilled to see their mummy early in the morning. Tara was asleep and had no idea what was happening.
"Baby, she is sleeping. Don't wake her up," Rudra gently cooed to the twins and kissed their cheeks. They nodded their heads like obedient kids.
Rudra placed them on the bed. They kept looking at Tara. She turned to her left side, facing the kids, making them smile more. Rudra watched silently as the kids looked at Tara with love.
How come they are his kids but love her more? Rudra thought, feeling the unknown bond between them.
The twins crawled towards Tara and sat in front of her. Yuvraj rested his head on her hand, and Yashvi on her arm. Rudra laughed at the two, who were still looking at Tara.
"Yuvraj, Yashvi, I know she is pretty, but stop staring at her," Rudra chuckled.
The kids looked at their father and then at each other, pouting.
Tara felt something on her arm and slowly opened her eyes to see Yuvraj and Yashvi pouting at each other. She smiled at them.
"Yuvraj, Yashvi," Tara called them in her soft voice. The twins turned towards Tara and smiled widely.
"Mummaa!" they squealed with happiness and tried to sit up. Rudra helped them both. Tara sat back, placing her back on the headrest. She pulled them into her arms and kissed their heads, making them giggle. They snuggled into her chest.
Rudra watched the three with adoration.
"When did my babies wake up?" Tara asked the twins. They replied in gibberish.
"They woke up some time ago. Sanya brought them to me," Rudra replied. Tara was startled but then realized it was him.
"I didn't see you were in the room," Tara said, pulling the twins closer and kissing their foreheads as she got afraid for a moment.
"You didn't see me? You saw these small teddy-like babies but not a grown-up man?" Rudra asked in disbelief.
"I can't see anything when I'm with my babies," Tara answered, smiling.
Rudra smiled at her words, 'My babies.'
"Mummaa," the babies whispered, breaking the hug and looking at her. They caressed her cheeks, making her kiss their small hands. They giggled, making Tara feel content. Rudra smiled at them.
Why am I smiling so much? Rudra thought to himself realising him showing his teeth more than usual.
"Rudra, what's the time? I need to get ready for the rituals," Tara asked, looking at him. The kids were busy playing with her hair and bangles.
