AUTHOR'S POV
"Tara, are you ready?" Rudra stood outside the closet, waiting. She had been inside for the past hour, getting ready with Sanya's help.
The twins pouted at their dad as their mother was busy inside.
It's been a week since they confessed to each other. Tara goes to the office daily with him, though she comes back early or goes late. She works there, solving glitches in his IT team.
Rudra was happy to have her working and being out of the room. She would wear trousers and a shirt that Rudra picked out for her daily. They worked most of the time, but he wouldn't let her go before kissing her, making her scold him. He didn't care about the scoldings.
They didn't cuddle to sleep, though sometimes Tara was found snuggled into him in the morning. Other times, the twins would be with them.
In short, everything is going well with the couple and the twins. They are the happiest. They enjoy closing their eyes and giggling, knowing their parents are spending time together.
"Tara!" Rudra exclaimed, getting impatient.
"Mumma!" The twins sighed, impatient too.
Finally, the closet door opened, making the three heads snap toward it.
Tara wore a white saree with golden strips of shiny flat beads and an elbow-length v-cut multi-colored blouse. A small golden pendant hung on her neck. Her hair was in a low bun, with two flicks of hair dancing in front of her face. She wore no other jewelry.
Rudra was ready in a black tux, looking handsome and hot at the same time.
"Bhaiya, where are you lost?" Sanya jumped in front of Tara, bringing Rudra back to reality.
Rudra blinked and walked to Tara, who looked at him nervously. Sanya went to the kids, but their eyes stayed on Tara and Rudra.
Rudra cupped her face, and the twins yelled, "Dadda!" They pointed from their right index finger on their left hand and from their left index finger on their right hand, making Sanya look at them in confusion.
Rudra chuckled, and Tara playfully punched his chest. "No need for that, babies," Rudra winked, making the twins giggle while Sanya remained confused.
Rudra looked at Tara and pecked her forehead. "You are looking beautiful, bacha," he said, looking into her eyes. Tara's heart fluttered, a blush adorned her cheeks, and she bit her lips to control her smile. Rudra chuckled and pecked the side of her head.
"Bhaiya, Bhabhi, you should leave now, or you'll be late," Sanya reminded them.
"Chalein?" Rudra asked.
"Ji," Tara replied. She picked up her purse and put her phone and charger inside. Rudra took her purse, and she looked at her "bhaloos."
"Mumma will miss you so much, my bhaloos," Tara said, hugging them. The two rested their heads on her chest, sighing with love. Tara pecked their foreheads, and the twins blinked and looked at each other.
"Bhaloos, Mumma will be back soon, okay?" Tara said, making them look at her. The twins had teary eyes, but they nodded. Tara's own eyes filled with tears looking at her babies.
"Don't cry, Janna," Tara said softly, pecking their eyes.
Their lips wobbled more, making Tara's eyes fill with tears.
"Tara, Yuvraj, Yashvi, don't act as if we're going for many days," Rudra said softly to the three, making them glare at him. Rudra gulped, and Sanya giggled.
