AUTHOR'S POV
It was Rudra's day off, and he was at home today, spending time with his family.
All of them were sitting in the hall. The twins were on the mat, playing with their toys.
"Beta, we were thinking about your reception party," Ritesh mentioned. Tara glanced at Rudra, but when he looked back at her, she diverted her gaze to the kids.
"In three days," Rudra replied. He couldn't let what happened yesterday happen again. It would be good for everyone if he made it public ASAP. Sarla and Ritesh beamed with happiness. Tara smiled, looking down. Sanya chirped happily. The twins giggled, seeing everyone so happy.
"We have to invite a lot of people. I think we should start preparing," Sarla stated.
"What work, Aunty?" Kabir asked, walking inside.
Kabir took blessings from the elders, side-hugged Tara and Sanya, gave a brotherly hug to Rudra, and little kisses to the kids.
"Kabir, after three days, Rudra and Tara's reception party will be organized," Sarla announced happily.
"Oh my, did he agree to this? Wow, finally I will have some fun," Kabir exclaimed with a huge grin.
Sarla, Ritesh, Sanya, and Kabir started planning for the reception. Rudra informed them they would hire an event manager to make all the arrangements. They just had to invite people. Sarla called the beautician to come home. They all chose their clothes and looks. Yuvraj and Yashvi were a bit cranky, but they were okay with Tara.
Tara and Rudra didn't have much time to talk in those three days. They were all busy with preparations. Sarla had called the Vermas to inform them about the reception. But Rudra would massage her feet daily and ask her about her day.

On the reception day, Tara and Sanya were getting ready in Sanya's room. Sarla had already left for the venue with Ritesh. Kabir was waiting downstairs with Rudra and the twins.
"When will they come, Rudy boy?" Kabir asked, pacing in the hall. Yuvraj was playing with the hem of Yashvi's dress, and Yashvi was touching Yuvraj's hair, trying to set it. They both sat on Rudra's lap.
"I don't know, Kabir. Stop pacing," Rudra replied, irritated with his friend.
Kabir sighed. Then, he got a text and smirked. He moved away from Rudra to a spot where he could capture a photo.
Sanya came downstairs. Rudra, Yashvi, and Yuvraj looked at her.
"Where is Tara?" Rudra asked.
"Wheee Maa?" the twins echoed, copying their father.
(Where's maa?)
"She'll be here in a minute," Sanya replied, standing aside. The twins returned to their play, and Rudra observed them when they all heard the clicking sound of heels.
All heads turned toward the stairs, where Tara was descending, looking like a queen.
Rudra's mouth hung open as he stared at her without blinking. The twins stopped what they were doing and gazed at their mamma, who looked so pretty. Their eyes shone with love. The three of them stared at Tara with love and adoration.
"Pre-chess," Yashvi whispered, comparing her mumma to the beautiful angelic princesses she saw in cartoons. The white gown flowed down to her ankles, and the off-shoulder design looked ethereal on her. The slit on the side of her dress showed her flawless legs. The dress sparkled as light fell on the glitters, making her look divine.
