AUTHOR'S POV

After the drama in their room, Rudra and Tara picked up the kids and descended downstairs. Tara felt nervous in her dress, but Sarla, the over-loving mother-in-law, gushed over Tara, and even Sanya couldn't take her eyes off her. Sensing Tara's discomfort, Ritesh delivered a heartfelt speech about how she was not just their daughter-in-law but their daughter, much like Sanya.

They all settled down to eat breakfast. The twins sat with their grandparents, giggling at their beautiful clothes. Tara was sipping juice when she suddenly choked, prompting Rudra to turn abruptly and rub her back.

"Are you okay?" he asked once she had recovered. Tara shot him a sideways glance, to which he lightly smirked, unnoticed by anyone else.

The twins watched with wide eyes, trying to figure out what was happening with their parents. Meanwhile, Ritesh, Sarla, and Sanya were engrossed in their own conversations.

They resumed eating their food. "We're at the table, Rudra. Don't act crazy," Tara whispered to him.

"I didn't do anything," Rudra replied innocently, though Tara knew exactly what he was up to.

His hand was on her thigh, it was softly caressing her thighs making her go nuts. She choked when he kept his hand there and then his hand started caressing her skin, in an up and down motion making her breath hitch. Goosebumps rose on her skin abruptly making her feel things between her thighs.

After managing to finish breakfast, Tara made a mental note to scold him later. Sanya departed for college, while Ritesh and Sarla headed to a friend's house for a get-together. Rudra and Tara settled the kids in the back seat, securing their seat belts.

Tara double-checked to ensure the twins were comfortable in their child seats before settling in the front with Rudra. The twins sang happily as they rode out with their parents.

Rudra started the engine and again his hand went to her thigh making her slap it away.

"What are you doing!?" Tara scolded glaring at him.

Rudra shrugged.

"Are you feeling uncomfortable?" He asked pulling his hand away. Rudra realised it late that he might have made her uncomfortable.

"Tara, I am sorry if I crossed my lin..." he got cut off by her. He was genuinely unaware of it, as the two were getting close he was forgetting his limits.

"No, no no. You don't. You didn't cross any line. I am not uncomfortable with you at all. I meant that the kids were sitting at the back."

Tara said hurriedly pulling his hand back to keep at her thigh making him glance at her. She didn't wish him to feel that she was denying his touch, instead it was the other way around. She loved his touch.

"Are you sure..?" Rudra asked glancing at her and then back at the road.

"Yes, I am. I am sorry if you thought that way. But I am not uncomfortable with you patidev. I promise I am not. " Tara said, blinking her eyes nervously. She can never feel uncomfortable with him. It's just he always pulls these stunts in front of others then she becomes cautious of others knowing their deeds.

Rudra nodded squeezing her thighs and making her eyes wide.

"Rudra!" Tara exclaimed, slapping his hand and earning a smirk from him.

"Dadda!" The twins chimed in, mimicking Tara and causing Rudra to burst into laughter.

"Yes, mumma ke bhaloo?" Rudra asked, looking at the kids through the mirror.

They both shrugged and began their twin talk.

"You brought this dress because you wanted to pull off these stunts, didn't you?" Tara asked, eyeing Rudra.
