Apparently, Dream should join a school club so he has something to brag about to a college.

At least Nightmare is joining one, too.

Neither of them can really decide which one to join, so they attend a bunch of meetings.

Ink drags Dream, excitedly, by the arm into the room. Nightmare trails behind them boredly.

Dream immediately locks eyes with Geno, whose soul seems to leave him at the sight of Dream. It's almost like Geno has never seen the color yellow, but beside him Reeper starts to snicker very loudly, and Dream is suddenly very nervous.

Life gives him an apologetic look, and Dream has half a mind to start shaking in his boots. Nightmare looks between everyone quickly, suspicion rapidly growing to soaring new heights.

Carrion Crow, the odd one with black wings, stares at the newcomers with wide eyes. Color blinks owlishly at them, unmoving with a plate of sugar cookies in hand.

After a long moment of eye contact between Dream and Geno, and very excited rambling from Ink, Geno speaks slowly and loudly, "You have no idea about the amount of drawings Ink has made of you, nor the sheer number of them that everyone in his room has been subjected to."

Very quickly, Ink's voice dies in his throat, mouth still open.

Ink's eyes, fearfully, stray to Nightmare.

"Uh-" Dream starts, suddenly growing to be a very bright yellow, but Nightmare is already shouting at Ink, dragging Dream away from him.

Dream eyes his irate brother, then turns back to Geno.

"I'm so sorry," he says to them, under Nightmare's shouting and Ink's frightened screams.

Reaper laughs. The others do some form of snickering. Geno grins, amused.

Nightmare yanks Dream out of the room, slamming the door shut. Ink wails.

- • Fabric and string arts club • -

It's an odd name, but some members sew, knit, embroider, crochet, or do any number of things with fabric and string. The members kept correcting the school faculty until the school gave in and changed the name from 'sewing club' to 'fabric and string arts club' for inclusivity.

The club room has a pet tarantula that Error seems to be genuinely in love with. He keeps making cooing noises at the terrarium. Apparently its name is Jimjam and Outer made a bed for it.

Neither Dream nor Nightmare ask.

Life is in this club, too, and Blue jumps at the chance to teach them how to sew.

Nightmare stabs himself with the needle. Distracted by his brother's self-mauling, so does Dream.

It's a fun nurse visit.

Fresh enters the room only for Error to chase him out.

It's a chill environment.

Dream and Nightmare fill out the application to join totally of their own volition. Blue and his many sized needles have no sway in it.

Cross, Horror, and Dust seem to harmonize on the word, "Cowards."

They seem to have forgotten that Dream and Nightmare now, also, have access to many sized needles.

- • Writing club • -

Writing club doesn't exist. Fucking bummer.

- • Band club • -

They don't attend. Neither of them want to pick up the instruments they abandoned in middle school.

- • Chess club • -

Chess club has a bunch of random, assorted individuals that neither of them would have guessed would be in chess club.

There's Candy, Sci, Fell, Classic, Life for some reason, Geno, Cross, Dance, King, Lust, and several Dream can't name.

Dream gets his ass beat, gambles away twenty-five bucks, and Nightmare joins the club fifty bucks richer and looking incredibly smug for someone so ridiculously scrawny and purple.

Like, honestly.

- • Cooking club • -

It's fun, but it's very apparent how Horror has to physically restrain himself from eating all of the food.

Dream joins.

- • Gardening Club • -

Dream and Nightmare want to join before they even show up to a meeting, but they force themselves to wait.

Life is there, unsurprisingly. Horror and Straw wave from their table. Carrion Crow stares at Dream the same way he had before, with wide, traumatized eyes.

On the wall, there is a giant poster that reads, "Always bitches and kittens in a well-run farm."

Dream is frightened of what that could mean.

They have fun, though, and they both sign up.

Three clubs each, they don't sign up for any more.
