"I'm bored"
"You're bored? I'm the one chained to a tree"
I picked up a handful of grass and sighed as I watched it fall from my hand.
"All they talk about is college" I said, nodding my head over in Scott and Stiles' direction. "I mean we haven't even started senior year yet"
"You're worried" Liam stated.
"I'm not worried"
"You are. I can smell it" he wrinkled his nose.
"Okay, wolf boy, maybe I am worried about the future. Is that such a bad thing?" I continued to pick at the grass.
"You're Kara Dunbar. You're my big sister. You have nothing to be worried about" he said.
I looked up at my younger brother, a sincere smile plastered on my face.
"You know, I had my doubts about you hanging out with those losers. But they've actually shaped you into a decent human being"
"I was always a decent human being"
"Yeah, when you weren't exploding with rage" I teased.
"Sis" he groaned.
"Bro" I mocked his tone.
The two of us laughed and I sat back on my hands, looking up at the moon glistening in the sky.
"What's it like? You know, being a wolf" I wondered aloud
"Different" My brother replied vaguely.
"Have you found one of those anchor thingys yet?"
He raised his eyebrow at me. "Anchor thingys?"
"You know what I'm on about"
"Well I've been trying music but it's not entirely working"
"Maybe you should try listening to All Time Low" I grinned. "Or Fall Out Boy"
"This was just another one of your pathetic attempts to get me into your kind of music, wasn't it"
"What? Pfft no"
I started picking at the grass again.
"You think it's been long enough?" I heard Stiles ask.
"Yes!" Liam shouted.
Scott and Stiles turned around with a groan.
"Hey, trying to have an adult conversation over here"
"Alright you're two years older than me. And I'm fine, just let me go" My brother pleaded.
The boys came over, holding the keys.
"It's not that we don't trust you" Scott said.
"I don't trust you" Stiles cut in.
"But that last full moon" Scott shook his head.
"It was one slip up" Liam argued.
"Slip up? A dozen calls to the Sheriff's department about a monstrous dog boy running around the streets of Beacon Hills naked. That's a slip up?" Stiles said.
I shook the thoughts from my head, not wanting to remember anything about that god awful night.
"Why were you naked?" Scott questioned.
"It was really hot outside, okay. Let me go"
"You sure you're okay?" Scott asked.
My brother nodded. "It won't happen again"
"You're in complete and total control?"
"Yeah, complete and total"
The chains were dropped and stuffed into a bag and then the four of us headed to Stiles' jeep.

I'm super excited for this.
