As we reached the jeep I spotted my Scott's bike parked next to it.

"Find anything?" He asked us.

"Nope" Stiles replied.

Liam shrugged. "I fell in a hole"

Stiles ignored my brother and tried to start up the jeep.

"Son of a-" I heard him sigh. "Liam. Will you do me a favour and get in the car and turn the ignition when I say"

My brother did as asked whilst Stiles and Scott opened up the front of the jeep.

"Stiles" Scott said.

"Give me a sec" he mumbled. "Alright!"

Liam turned the ignition but it wouldn't start.

"Stiles" Scott repeated.

"Yes okay, we followed him out here. What do you want me to say? That I'm a stalker, huh? That I'm crazy? Overly paranoid? None of this is new information"

"Not even going to try and at least give him the benefit of the doubt?"

"I give people the benefit of the doubt. I've given a lot of benefits to a lot of people" Stiles said.

"Like Derek? Kira. Liam?" Scott asked.

"I was right about Peter" Stiles said. "Try it again!" He yelled.

Liam started the ignition again but it had the same result.

"You know, I bet you still think there's something about him that can be saved" Stiles said.

"Maybe" His best friend replied.

Stiles huffed before yelling out to Liam again.

I sighed when the jeep still wouldn't start.

"Why can't you trust anyone?" Scott asked.

"Because you trust everyone!" Stiles slammed his fist against the jeep and then yelled out in pain.

I stepped backwards in shock

"Are you okay?" Scott asked, concern clear in his voice.

"Fine"

"You could have broken that"

"It's not broken"

"Let me see"

"I'm fine"

"Let me see it"

I watched as Stiles reluctantly held his shaking hand out and Scott placed his over it, the familiar black veins shooting up his arm.

Liam turned the ignition once more and thankfully the jeep started.

I watched as Stiles stared at his hand in amazement before climbing back into the jeep.

The three of us sat in silence.

"So, that was fun. We should do it again some time"

I got glares as my response.
