NO ONES POV

When Spencer woke up, he found an empty bed and a note on his dresser. Confused, he opened it and began reading:

"Spencer, I'm so sorry. Last night was a mistake. I just got out of a relationship, and I need some space to process everything. Please understand. I'll explain more later. - Olivia"

"What the hell?" Spencer muttered, frustration bubbling up inside him.

His phone rang, and he saw it was his mom, Grace, calling. He picked up the call, trying to push aside his frustration.

"Hey, Ma," Spencer answered, taking a deep breath.

"Hey, sweetheart. Is Olivia coming with you to the family cookout and pool party today? Serenity has been asking about her non-stop," Grace said.

Spencer sighed, remembering Olivia's promise to his little sister. "Yeah, I'll check with her. She promised Serenity she'd come."

"Alright, make sure to be here by three," Grace reminded him.

"Bet. Thanks, Ma," Spencer said before hanging up.

He dialed Olivia's number, feeling a mix of emotions. After a few rings, she picked up.

"Hey, Spence," Olivia's voice sounded cautious.

"Yo, Liv. You still comin' to the cookout? Serenity's been askin' 'bout you all day," Spencer said, trying to keep his tone casual.

"Yeah, of course. I promised her," Olivia replied.

"Aight, cool. What time you want me to scoop you up?" Spencer asked, feeling a bit of the tension ease.

"Three is fine," Olivia said. There was a brief, uncomfortable silence.

"Bet. Be ready before three," Spencer said, then added, "See you then."

"Okay," Olivia responded before hanging up.

Back at Olivia's house, she was talking with Simone about what to wear.

"You should rock those Nike Dunks with a white crop top and black jean shorts. And don't forget to pack your white bikini," Simone suggested.

Olivia sat down on the bed and sighed deeply.

"What's wrong?" Simone asked, noticing her friend's mood.

Olivia hesitated before saying, "Last night with Spencer... it got complicated. We ended up sleeping together."

"Oh, Liv," Simone said sympathetically. "What are you gonna do?"

"I don't know. I told him I needed space, but now we're going to this cookout together," Olivia said, feeling overwhelmed.

"Just take it one step at a time. Focus on today, and we'll figure out the rest later," Simone advised.

Olivia nodded and began getting ready, doing her makeup and trying to push aside her worries.

At three o'clock, Spencer arrived at Olivia's house. She got into the car, and the atmosphere was thick with unspoken tension.

"How was your day?" Spencer asked, breaking the silence.

"It was alright. Yours?" Olivia replied, looking out the window.

"Same," Spencer said. The silence between them was palpable.

When they arrived at Mrs. Grace's house, they greeted everyone. Olivia hugged Mrs. Grace, who welcomed her warmly.

"Hey, Olivia! It's good to see you. You look lovely as always," Grace said with a warm smile.
