"Would you like to hear a story?"

A calm, chill man asked the two young adults across him.

The guy wore gold, round, rimmed glasses that sat on the bridge of his nose. A dark-red maroon scarf was wrapped around his neck.

He wore changpao with the left sude white and the side red, gold clasps holding it together .

The two young adults lit up excitedly, they were both best friends and equally enjoyed his stories.

One was a male, and the other was a female. The two grinned, and looked back at the man.

"Of course! Is it another Monkey King story?"

The girl groaned at her friend's question, slightly fed up with the constant Monkey King stories.

"Not today, but it is someone slightly close to him, someone who he once knew."

The boy deflated, but couldn't help being interested by the man's words while the girl grinned victoriously that it wouldn't be another one of Monkey King's stories.

The man cleared his throat, catching the two's attention. They looked toward him, as he started his story.

"Long ago, there was a time when there were ten suns."

"Each sun had the same job, to walk the skies, alone and bring warmth and light to the world below them."

"Out of all the suns, one stood out the most. They were different, even when they were first born."

"That child, was none other than Xu Ming themselves."

"They were a bright, and kind soul. One who cared deeply about humanity and it's safety."

"Xu Ming was different from the rest. Even though they were kind, they were a quiet individual, and kept to themselves."

"They enjoyed reading in their parent's old library that was abandoned by their family."

"But.. Nothing stays the same, forever."

"It was a certain day that changed humanity, and created this story."

"The sky was dark, yet ready for a sun to light the sky and announce the morning."

Today was Xu Ming's day, they exited their parent's library hastily to make sure they weren't late for their duties.

"That certain day, it was Xu Ming's day to walk the skies."
