A yell came from the counter. I quickly, but carefully appeared and saluted him like he was a military general.
I still had bandages on, but I obviously had to hide them so the customers wouldn't send a complaint about it, for whatever reason.
All my bandages were under my clothing, making it feel like it was one hundred degrees inside a restaurant filled with many customers.
The only one that was visible was the one on my arms, and face. Luckily there wasn't complaints, not yet at least.
I grab the bowl of noodles, bringing it to the the correct table with a couple.
"Here are your noodles, enjoy!"
I smiled at them as I placed them down onto the table in front of them both.
They returned the smile gratefully, and I leave them alone. Though they probably devoured it the second I turned my back.
I proceed to turn towards some new customers, but as time went on I noticed that there were less customers each hour.
Hopefully that meant the lunch rush was starting to die down.
I had a small notepad, as well as a pen to write down orders.
I was going left, right, around the restaurant taking orders, giving noodles, taking empty bowls, taking the cash, and waving goodbye. The cycle repeats for hours, which seems to past by easily.
I learned easily, at first I went slowly since there wasn't much customers. And since I went slowly I learned easier, until more customers started to flow in.
That's when things got a bit rough, but I pushed myself to continue working.
So, when it was three in the afternoon and the lunch rush was ending I brought the bowls inside the kitchen to wash them.
