She heard a man say, "So... you remember our deal?"

She looked at the guy and then turned her face the other way.

He was shocked by her sudden reaction and got a little angry about it, not knowing the fact that she couldn't see his face in that dark night.

He leaned down to her height and said, "Don't play games with me, shorty."

She frowned and kept staring at the man standing in front of her.

She asked him politely to sit and apologized for not asking him to sit earlier.

He sat and said, "So now you remember me, huh?"

But she still couldn't understand what was happening.

"See, I don't know who you are or what deal you're talking about, but it'd be great if you could tell me more," she said, passing a small smile.

Hearing this, he understood that she didn't recognize him or maybe she hadn't noticed and decided to play along with her.

"Maybe I got the wrong person, but that's okay. I'll take my leave," he said.

She was shocked but knew that he had asked her by mistake. She passed a brief smile while looking at him. His well-built body and well-groomed hair caught her eye. His blue suit perfectly matched his body structure and fit him perfectly. She snapped out of her thoughts and shook her head.

Meanwhile, he was already making his move to leave the cafe but stopped and said, "You'll get whatever brings you here."

She looked at him with a confused face and heard a sound of thunder, which made her eyes widen with happiness. Soon it started raining, and she went outside to feel every drop of rain.

The moment she stepped out of the cafe, she forgot everything around her and started enjoying the rain, twirling around and getting herself fully drenched.

On the other side, he saw her being so open and unhesitant about anything or anyone, and a small smile formed on his face. But soon, he hid it.

Everything turned upside down. The happiness that the rain brought to her face turned into a mix of anger, nervousness, sadness, and every other emotion she could feel at that moment. She stopped dancing around. She looked at the car with dry eyes, eyes that no longer wanted to cry or see the person who was about to come out of it. She remembered everything, every moment. That's when she went inside the cafe, grabbed her bag, and tried to leave.

"Stop!" a voice called out, and she looked back.
